Every time you type in an address on the internet, you can thank the International Corporation for Assigned Numbers and Names (ICANN.) Since 1998, as explained on Icann.org, this U.S. non-profit, for public benefit corporation has been the responsible party for coordinating the millions of numbers and names used as “unique identifiers” on the global internet system.
ICANN is not involved in creating or controlling internet content, nor do they have any say in gaining internet access. But as the manager of the backbone behind the names and numerical addresses for every person, business, corporation and nation in the world, ICANN is a critical component in how the internet operates. And that’s about to change, but it’s not for the better. According to Breibart.com, President Barak Obama has been pushing to give the transparent ICANN’s governance away to a global body, which could be “one of the worst blunders in the history of national security economic policy and the fight for liberty.”
This global hand off is described as the “Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) Transfer,” as reported by Protectinternetfreedom.com. What will be “surrendered” is the management of the “domain name system” (DNS) as well as the “root zone files,” which effectively ends “America’s special role in protecting the greatest tool in human history. . .” One can only imagine what a world would be like without the truth and the freedom of expression found on the internet.

THE WEST’S WAR GAMES WITH RUSSIA
EU expansionism is a bigger problem than Putin’s ambitions.
It is an all-too-familiar trope, but one Jens Stoltenberg, the secretary general of NATO, was not afraid of using when, in support of the establishment’s Remain campaign, he warned British voters that leaving the EU would endanger ‘peace and security’. The reasoning might be mythical – the EU is supposedly the glue that has bound hitherto conflicting nations together – but that doesn’t stop the likes of Stoltenberg and the EU’s leaders, from Hollande to Merkel, waxing disingenuously about how the EU promotes peace and stability.
But just how disingenuous this talk is has once again become clear over the past month. Because, as part of NATO, those same propagators of pacificism, of postwar never-again-ism, have been showing how committed they are to peace and stability by indulging in military posturing on the increasingly nebulous borders of the EU. Their target, as ever, is Russia; their effect, instability and discord.
NATO’s escalation of the conflict with Russia is rich in grisly irony. At the beginning of June, EU member states and NATO, these supposed forces of global order and stability, embarked on the largest movement of foreign allied troops in Poland since the Second World War. Described as a 10-day military training exercise, involving 31,000 soldiers, thousands of vehicles and assorted aircraft, it was also the first time since 1941 that German tanks had crossed the Polish border. This, apparently, is what promoting peace and stability looks like.
And this weekend, following a two-day summit in Warsaw, NATO and its partners upped the ante further. Citing ‘Russia’s aggressive actions [in Ukraine], including provocative military activities in the periphery of NATO territory’, and asserting, in euphemistically expansionist language, the need to ‘project… stability’, they agreed to deploy four battalions, numbering nearly 4,000 troops, in Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia – that is, right along Russia’s western borders. All of this follows America’s construction of a missile defence system in Romania, with a further one planned in Poland.
Of course, we know why the US and its European NATO allies think they’re justified in determinedly rattling their hi-tech rifles on Russian borders. They would like to believe Putin’s Russia is a clear and present danger. They would like to believe, at some level, that he is, as one commentator called him, a ‘hypernationalist, conspiratorial madman’, a man who dreams of Russia’s ‘imperial restoration’. They never put it in those terms, of course. They talk ostensibly of defence; of protecting NATO members and allies; of, as Stoltenberg put it, ‘an attack on one ally [being] considered an attack on the whole alliance’. But lurking in the NATO-ese is the same desperately anti-Russian prejudice, the same conviction that Russia, with Putin at the helm, poses a significant threat to the EU and the West in general. Putin is seemingly the Hitler of our times, and Russia, the Fourth Reich.
Washington Plays Nuclear Chicken Now With China as Well as Russia
It seems it’s not enough that US Defense Secretary Ash Carter and his generals engage in games of nuclear chicken with Russia by provocations in Ukraine, NATO maneuvers on Russia’s borders and activation of highly-dangerous ballistic missile defense installations on Russia’s perimeter. In the past months the Obama Administration has clearly also escalated tensions in the seas surrounding the Peoples’ Republic of China—East China Sea with Japan and South China Sea with the Philippines—tensions which potentially could provoke a catastrophe. While both provocative operations could give the Pentagon budget a boost in times of budget austerity, they could easily detonate a preemptive nuclear strike by either China or Russia or by both. In the 21st Century such primitive behavior by the Obama Pentagon is not only inexcusable. It’s mad.

“I wouldn’t vote for Hillary Clinton if you paid me!” Farage jokingly said to the crowd.

A Brain-damaged US President with Finger on the Nuclear Button?
Hillary Rodham Clinton seems to surround herself with more scandals than you can shake a stick at, as we said when I was growing up in Texas. We had the Mena, Arkansas scandals when her husband, Bubba, otherwise known as William Jefferson Clinton, was Attorney General and then Governor. Ambrose Evans Pritchard, the British Telegraph investigative journalist did a masterful documentation of that in his The Secret Life of Bill Clinton, when Bill was President facing impeachment in the 1990’s. Then there are the Clinton Foundation scandals documented in the 2015 Peter Schweitzer book, Clinton Cash: The Untold Story of How and Why Foreign Governments and Businesses Helped Make Bill and Hillary Rich, detailing how Hillary abused her office as Secretary of State to steer huge Saudi and other “donations” to the Clinton Foundation on whose board she sat as soon as leaving office as Secretary of State. There are of course the national security e-mail server scandals which a corrupted Attorney General and a corrupt FBI director swept under the rug. This latest scandal puts all others in the background. It’s her refusal to release all medical records detailing her medications and true state of health following a brain concussion in 2012. The Democratic candidate is likely medically suffering from irreversible dementia.
On August 8, a New Jersey radio host and blogger released what he claimed were leaked copies of Hillary Clinton’s 2014 medical records from her doctor, Lisa Bardack M.D. of the Mt. Kisco Medical Group in upstate New York. According to the documents, Dr. Bardack wrote that Clinton had “early-onset Subcortical Vascular Dementia” following a serious brain concussion she suffered from a fall when she was Secretary of State, on December 7, 2012. After that fall, she spent six months in constant hospital care according to Bill Clinton, who told ABC News in 2014 that her injury “required six months of very serious work to get over.” On February 1, 2013 Secretary of State and future Presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton, abruptly resigned as Secretary of State with no link to her health mentioned.
ABCNews in May, 2014 cited the following quote from her doctors, one of whom was Dr. Lisa Bardack: “In the course of a routine follow-up MRI on Sunday, the scan revealed…a clot in the vein that is situated in the space between the brain and the skull behind the right ear. It did not result in a stroke, or neurological damage. To help dissolve this clot, her medical team began treating the Secretary with blood thinners…” – Dr. Lisa Bardack, Mt. Kisco Medical Group, and Dr. Gigi El-Bayoumi,George Washington University.
According to the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, Subcortical Vascular Dementia “is a progressive disease; there is no cure.” Symptoms include forgetfulness, changes in speech, an unsteady gait, clumsiness or frequent falls, changes in personality or mood. Candidate Clinton has been filmed by the media in recent weeks frequently stumbling and falling for no apparent reason. She often appears on the podium with a man whose function appears to be there in case she loses balance. The copy of Dr. Bardack’s 5 February 2014 follow-up examination, if genuine, states that Mrs. Clinton reported to her that the “blacking out, uncontrollable twitching and memory loss have become worse…The patient scored significantly lower on today’s test than when tested in 2013…The patient is also showing signs of having more frequent complex seizures.”
Germany Warns People To ‘Stockpile’ Cash In Case Of ‘War’
The German government is warning its people to ‘stockpile’ food, water and cash in case of ‘war’.
For the first time since the end of the Cold War, the German government is set to tell citizens to stockpile food, water, medicine, fuel and cash in case of war, an attack, catastrophe or “national emergency”, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung newspaper reported on Sunday.

Colin Powell Throws Hillary Clinton Under the Bus over Email Scandal
Bush administration Secretary of State Colin Powell complained about his recent appearance in the headlines in connection with the Hillary Clinton private email server scandal.
“Her people have been trying to pin it on me,” Powell told PEOPLE magazine in the Hamptons this weekend.
Powell was referring to Clinton’s interview with FBI interrogators, in which she claimed that Powell told her in a memo that he used a private email server as Secretary of State and that she could too.
New York Times Tech Columnist Calls on Google to Hide Hillary Health Info
New York Times tech columnist Farhad Manjoo is calling on Google to “fix” its search engine results to hide evidence of Hillary Clinton’s failing health.
“Go online and put down, ‘Hillary Clinton illness,’ and take a look at the videos yourself,” Rudy Giuliani recently said on Fox News, during an argument about how sick Clinton really is.
Manjoo of the Times called for Google to “fix” the problem of search results possibly hurting the Democratic nominee.
George Soros Caught Yanking Clinton’s Puppet Strings
Puppet master Soros also instructs the U.S. Secretary of State that “the U.S. and European Union must work in complete harmony over this,” exposing how far and wide his puppet strings extend.
Considering Soros has also been exposed giving tens of millions of dollars to Clinton, and has now been caught issuing orders to her, the question of whether a vote for Clinton is a vote for Soros and his agenda is a legitimate one.

Six Years & 1000s Of Deaths Later, UN Admits It Imported Cholera To Haiti

It is not enough to be the poorest country in the world and to be in the sphere of corruption from the Clinton Foundation after suffering a devastating earthquake in 2010, now the UN has admitted that its peacekeeping troops literally imported cholera bacteria in its efforts to help the nation.

Great. So after admitting that your help efforts actually were detrimental, you offer more of the same help.As a reminder, cholera victims suffer from dehydration caused by severe diarrhea or vomiting.
The NYT continues by stating,
“The statement comes on the heels of a confidential report sent to Mr. Ban by a longtime United Nations adviser on Aug. 8. Written by Philip Alston, a New York University law professor who serves as one of a few dozen experts, known as special rapporteurs, who advise the organization on human rights issues,the draft language stated plainly that the epidemic “would not have broken out but for the actions of the United Nations…
But it represents a significant shift after more than five years of high-level denial of any involvement or responsibility of the United Nations in the outbreak, which has killed at least 10,000 people and sickened hundreds of thousands.”
Perhaps it is time for more Clinton crony capitalism and intervention in the name of saving lives.

Globalists Unite: Hillary Clinton Running Mate Tim Kaine Dines with George Soros’ Son as Donald Trump’s Rise Terrifies World Elite
Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA), Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Rodham Clinton’s running mate, dined exclusively with the son of progressive billionaire George Soros on Thursday evening, according to a photo posted on Alexander Soros’ Instagram on Friday afternoon.
“Love this man!” Alex Soros wrote along with a photograph of him with the vice presidential hopeful. “Was great to have dinner with a man we need to call one day #vicepresident @timkaine last night! He is definitely the real deal!”
The fact that Alex Soros, who was inspired in his own progressivism by his controversial father, has unfettered access to Kaine—Hillary Clinton’s running mate—is unsurprising. The Clinton apparatus has long come under scrutiny for their closeness with high dollar donor class figures, some of which has prompted federal law enforcement to fight for an official criminal investigation into the “Clinton Cash” narrative—one the Department of Justice (DOJ) under Attorney General Loretta Lynch has reportedly shut down. That being said, reports have surfaced that the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York Preet Bharara is in fact investigating—along with the FBI—the Clinton Foundation for such donor class proclivities with the Clinton apparatus.
Even more troubling than the Clinton Cash narrative though is the fact that Hillary Clinton’s tax returns—the 2015 returns were released on Friday—show that she and Bill Clinton have made a whopping $240 million since leaving the White House when George W. Bush won the 2000 presidential election. That’s a long way from “dead broke,” which they said they were at the time, and it’s all from their governmental connections and paid speeches.
Alex Soros’ Tim Kaine summit comes after a litany of other high-profile meetings he has had with top Democrats. In fact, during the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Philadelphia, he got a coveted meeting—and photograph—with Hillary Rodham Clinton herself.
“There can only be one #womancrushwedensday today and that is of course @hillaryclinton, not just for being the first woman to run for president from this nation’s two largest political parties, but I believe the best presidential candidate this nation could have today! Looking forward to seeing her crush it tomorrow! #wcw #hillaryclinton,” he wrote about his meeting and photograph with Clinton herself.
In the past few months, he’s gotten at least a couple of meetings with the sitting president of the United States—Barack Obama—photos of which he posted on Independence Day, July 4, and June 14. In the July 4 posting, Soros bashed the United Kingdom’s decision to vote to “Leave” the European Union—called Brexit.

Had European leaders and voters taken his advice they wouldn’t be in this current mess,” Soros wrote with the July 4 Obama picture. “After this farce called #brexit, I have never been more grateful to be American and for the institutions of #federalism, a written constitution, and a leader who doesn’t runaway from his obligations! #independenceday #obama #mcm”
Alex Soros has also got photos with his father, George Soros, Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY)—the likely next Democratic leader in the U.S. Senate since Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid is retiring—House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, Sen. Al Franken (D-MN), Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards, Muslim congressman Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN), Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), and the highly controversial Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett.
Perhaps more importantly here than just donor class globalist access to the Clinton apparatus, this Soros-Kaine summit for Hillary Clinton’s campaign highlights how over the past few weeks this presidential election has become a true referendum for the major issues that Donald Trump wants the campaign to be about.
First off, despite her claims to now oppose the mega-trade deal she once supported as the “gold standard” of trade deals, the fate of the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) will be decided by voters in November. A vote for Donald Trump is a vote to eviscerate the TPP, and all deals like it, as he made clear in his rally in Erie, Pennsylvania on Friday afternoon.
After Reince Priebus, the chairman of the Republican National Committee (RNC), made a surprise introduction for him, Trump pitched himself as America’s “Secretary of Keeping Jobs In the United States.” He hammered the TPP, which is now dead and buried until after the election thanks to House Speaker Paul Ryan’s primary challenger GOP businessman Paul Nehlen forcing the Speaker to take a position by which it cannot be resurfaced until at least the next president takes office.
While Hillary Clinton says she opposes it now, everyone knows that she would simply make a few minor changes to it, repackage it and force it through Congress on the fast-track Trade Promotion Authority (TPA). Trump, meanwhile, would nuke it entirely and offer Americans a whole new approach to trade policy that puts Americans first.
“Did you see her yesterday?” Trump asked the rallygoers in Erie of Hillary Clinton. “She has no clue what we’re talking about. She has no clue. She has no clue. Crooked Hillary—she doesn’t know anything about it, and by the way if she did she couldn’t do it anyway because the donors don’t want to do it.”
Trump noted that “We’ve lost thousands and thousands of companies and we’ve lost millions and millions of jobs” thanks to the Clinton-backed trade policies, like the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). Pennsylvania, Trump said, has “lost one in three manufacturing jobs since NAFTA.”
“Massive—that’s massive,” Trump said. “Since NAFTA. NAFTA was signed by Bill Clinton.”
It’s worth noting that Hillary Clinton still supports her husband’s administration’s major trade deal, NAFTA, and has not specified what exactly she would do on trade policy—so her history on the issue must be trusted.
George Soros, Alexander’s father, supports the Trans Pacific Partnership on the condition that it add China into the mix—something Hillary Clinton has not ruled out, while Trump has.
“The Trans-Pacific and Trans-Atlantic Partnerships, which are currently being negotiated, could offer an excellent opportunity for a two-pronged strategy but the current approach is all wrong,” George Soros wrote of the TPP and the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (T-TIP). “At present China is excluded; indeed the partnerships are conceived as an anti-Chinese alliance under U.S. leadership.”
In addition to trade policy, on immigration policy, Soros supports mass amnesty for every illegal alien in America—something Hillary Clinton has promised to do within her first hundred days in office. Trump, meanwhile, opposes amnesty for illegal aliens and supports securing the U.S. border with Mexico once and for all with a wall.
Soros also backs the free flow of “refugees” from the Middle East—among other places—into the United States and Europe, despite the obvious risks and threats they pose to the local communities as evidenced by what happened to a 5-year-old girl in Twin Falls, Idaho, who was raped brutally by a group of “refugees.” The local police department there, as Breitbart News has reported, has been filled with many of these “refugees”—in fact, 10 percent or seven of the 72 officers are “refugees.”
Hillary Clinton wants to increase the number of refugees the United States is bringing in from everywhere in the world, including specifically 550 percent more from Syria—where the Islamic State is on the rise and Bashar Al-Assad’s regime is oppressing people. Donald Trump wants to stop the flow until people are actually vetted, and use the power that the U.S. Constitution and federal law grants to the president of the United States to stop the flow.
Progressives and the leftist media have been befuddled as to how, despite a certainly rough past few weeks that really stretches back a couple months, Donald Trump is still standing. Hillary Clinton’s campaign, and her allies in the media, thought Trump would be gone by now.
Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) made this point on the Fox News Channel earlier on Friday.
“Donald Trump has had everything including the kitchen sink thrown at him,” Sessions said. “And he’s still standing in key battleground states. He’s neck and neck with Clinton and I think as his message continues to roll out and the American people realize they have a chance to change the direction from this failed status quo, to a growth agenda that can make their lives better, he’s going to move forward in the polls. He’s leading in states that we haven’t carried in 12 years. You can’t win in this race without doing well in Ohio and Pennsylvania and some of these other states and he’s doing very well there. He was leading in a poll recently in Iowa. This is strong even though it’s been a rough, rocky week or 10 days here.”

In a twisted sort of way, we should thank Michael J Morell, the former CIA deputy director. At last, we have official clarity on what has up to now been a US policy of deception over its criminal, covert involvement in Syria’s conflict. He says US policy should be to kill Russian military personnel. No qualms, no quibbles. Kill them.
Morell made his macabre recommendation during an interview on CBS last week.
Nearly six years of Western-backed death and destruction in Syria for regime change, and yet Washington somehow has gotten away with maintaining that it is «fighting terrorism» in the Arab country.
And to think, too, Morell’s candid admission of US criminality was fittingly broadcast on prime-time American TV.
That there wasn’t an immediate furor among the Western media and public over Morell’s Murder Inc machinations just goes to show how debased Western moral and legal standards have become. Probably due to inurement from decades of barbarity and lawlessness of Western governments waging criminal wars in the Middle East, Central Asia, North Africa and Latin America.
Russia/Turkey: Ready and Willing

major geo-political realignment is taking place between the US, Russia and Turkey.
While NATO used Turkey to ‘defend’ Europe’s so-called southern flank (by threatening Russia’s southern flank), the European Union led Turkey on for decades with respect to joining it. Of late, Europe has asked Turkey to rescue it from the dire consequences of US-led wars against Muslim countries that impelled hundreds of thousands of refugees toward its shores. In a supreme irony, having excluded Muslim Turkey from the Christian club, it found itself hosting many more Muslim refugees than the entire population of Turkey.
Turkey did not behave well in this matter, but currently, it may be helping to change the geo-strategic balance across the Eurasian continent. It occupies a key geographic position between Europe and Asia, and at the end of World War II, threw in its lot with the Euro-Atlantic alliance by joining NATO, enrolling its large, well-trained army in the stand-off with the Soviet Union. This policy was consistent with centuries of generally inimical, often warlike relations between the Muslim Ottoman Empire and the Eastern Orthodox Tsarist Empire. Yet sixty-five years of fealty to the West did not move by an iota the standoff between Islam and Christianity.
Whether it be the attempt by the US to bring about ‘regime change’ in Syria, or Europe’s continued rejection of Turkey for obvious religious reasons (delaying granting visa-free travel to Turkish citizens in exchange for Turkey processing refugee applications to Europe), appears to have dove-tailed with two other crucial international developments: the US build-up of accusations against Russia, with a view to forcing it into war, and President Putin’s increasing cooperation with China via the Shanghai Cooperation Agreement, the Eurasian Economic Community and the Silk Road Project also known as One- Belt, One Road, that will link Europe to Asia by rail and road.

Smart Phone App maker: Trump will win election
Jefferson Graham, USA TODAYLOS ANGELES — Despite a majority of opinion polls showing the 2016 presidential election going to Democrat Hillary Clinton, a smartphone app developer says his data suggests challenger Donald Trump will be the victor.
“Based on the stats we see, he looks strong,” says Ric Militi, co-founder of San Diego-based Crazy Raccoons, maker of the Zip question and answer app. His app poses questions and polls responses based on an average of 100,000 daily users. “I go with Trump, based on what we see.”
According to the RealClearPolitics average of opinion polls, which are performed by calling people on landlines and cell phones, and answering questions on websites, Clinton leads with 47.8%, to Trump’s 41.0%.
How can Zip’s results be so different?
“We’re not a poll. We’re a conversation, and 100% anonymous,” Militi says. “People feel comfortable answering questions without fear of being bullied or being called a racist. People can express themselves safely, and you get a pure answer.”
Militi and Zip co-founder Alanna Markey guested on an extended #TalkingTechpodcast episode, explaining why they believe their app can become the “Google of opinions” by using the power of social media instead of calling people on the phone to get their opinions.
Zip, which launched in February, tells consumers the app “resolves debates and sparks conversation,” and suggests that folks use the app to “settle bets, win arguments, find a pick-up line and earn bragging rights.”
Folks can either pose or answer questions and see the instant results from a cross-section of demographics and geography.
The results don’t read like any poll you’ve seen reported in the last weeks, but instead like they have been answered primarily by the most ardent Trump supporters.
Some Zip questions:
— ”New polls suggest Trump is getting crushed by Clinton. Do they reflect how you are going to vote?” Some 64% told Zip they would vote for Trump, compared to 36% for Clinton. In the latestReuters/Ipsos poll, Clinton leads Trump, 42% to 36%.
— ”California, who you voting for?” Trump got 55%, compared to 45% for Clinton. In the latest Public Policy Institute of California poll, Clinton has a 16-point advantage over Trump, 46% to 30%.
— “What do you honestly think Trump meant by saying “The 2nd amendment people can do something about Hillary? Vote against her? 63% Assassinate her 37%”
Militi insists his replies are a cross-section of voters in age, gender and geography. “These are the same results we saw when he (Trump) was in the primaries,” he says. He contends that most media polls are just flat-out wrong and that smartphone answers are the future.
Douglas Rivers, a Stanford University political science professor and chief scientist for YouGov, which conducts online polls with such partners as CBS and the Economist, disagrees. “What do they know about these people?” Rivers says. “We worry a lot about who we’re talking to.”
So either the traditional polls are right or Militi is onto something, with a different way of polling that lets citizens answer more openly. We’ll find out on Nov. 8, when voters go to the real polls.

In August 2010, as much of Russia’s cultivable land was being consumed by flames, then-Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin issued an order halting all grain exports, choosing instead to preserve what could be harvested for his own people.
The out-of-control wildfires spread quickly amid a punishing drought that produced conditions leading to the destruction of more than one-third of Russian farmland used to grow crops.
Or was the drought to blame? Some suspected something much more sinister.
As reported by The Guardian, a UK-based newspaper, the Russian tabloid press openly posited at the time that the United States may have been behind temperatures and drought not seen throughout Russia in 140 years. They speculated that the U.S. government was orchestrating the heatwave in order to give American farmers an advantage in the global marketplace while sticking it to an old nemesis. They speculated that a controversial experiment built and funded by the military and civilian institutes of higher learning was to blame.
How would such weather control be possible? From an array that had long been based in Alaska, where “harmful rays” were being directed at Russia’s harvest land, the Guardian said, quoting the Russian tabloids.
Weather control? Counter-EMP weapon?
The writers undoubtedly were referring to HAARP — High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program, a little-known U.S. military project some believe is used for electronic warfare, weather modification and other deviant uses.
Or, at least, it used to be. In May 2014, NBC News reported that the U.S. military notified Congress it would be shutting HAARP down.

Mr. Obama Senior was attending the University of Hawaii at the time, where he supposedly met Ms. Dunham.
A Kenyan publication, The Standard, had reported in 2004 that Obama was “Kenyan-Born”, but the lack of proof presented had led the rest of the mediatic world to dismiss the article has fake or unfounded. Jim Geraghty of the conservative website National Review Online may have sparked further speculation on June 9, 2008, when he asked Obama to release his birth certificate.Geraghty wrote that doing so could debunk several false rumors circulating on the Internet.

This is yet another example of Twitter shadow banning – where people on a designated ‘blacklist’ have their tweets relegated on search results and hidden from users’ timelines, while leftist politicians and commentators on a ‘whitelist’ have their tweets promoted.
A Twitter insider admitted to Breitbart back in February that Twitter had indeed begun shadow banning politically incorrect users, a claim verified by a senior editor at a major digital publisher.

By the time the 43rd G-7 summit convenes from May 26-27 next year in Taormina, Sicily, German chancellor Angela Merkel will be joined by at least one female colleague, British Prime Minister Theresa May, described as «Margaret Thatcher on steroids», and quite possibly a third, the war hawk Hillary Clinton representing the United States. Sicily may not be able to withstand the presence of two highly-volatile threats on the island, the unpredictable Mount Etna, along with the three «Maidens of War» – Merkel, May, and Clinton.
Merkel, of course, is the grand dame of Cold War-era saber-rattling. In words that could have emanated from the lips of a previous German chancellor, Adolf Hitler, Merkel called the massing of NATO troops on Russia’s borders with Poland and the Baltic states a «deeply defensive concept». Hitler used similar language to describe Germany’s buildup of troops in 1939 on its borders with Poland. The troops, Hitler argued, were to defend Germany from the aggression posed by Poland. Like Hitler, Merkel today justifies such troop buildups on the Russian border as merely «defensive» in nature. NATO’s actions, since its inception in 1949, have never been «defensive». NATO’s aggression against Yugoslavia in the 1990s, an action brought about by the husband of the woman who wants to join Merkel and May in Sicily in May 2017, is a case in point. NATO’s actions against Yugoslavia were purely those of an aggressor.
Banker Cronyism Hits EU Ship Rocked by Brexit Torpedo
It couldn’t come at a worst time. Just as the European Union is reeling from the historic setback of Britain voting to leave the 28-member bloc, then comes the scandal of a former top commissioner taking a plum job at a Wall Street bank – to advise on the fallout from the Brexit.
If ever the grubby «revolving door» relationship between the EU bureaucratic elite and big business needed an illustration, it is the news of Jose Manuel Barroso taking up a post with the US investment giant Goldman Sachs.
Barroso was President of the European Commission from 2004 to 2014 – the top administrative position in the EU. He was in that job during the global financial crisis of 2008 when Goldman Sachs and other Wall Street banks are accused of precipitating the worldwide crash through unethical lending practices using subprime housing mortgages. Goldman Sachs was later fined $5 billion by the US Department of Justice for its «misconduct» in falsely selling off insecure debts that led to the stacking up a disastrous financial house of cards.
The repercussions from the financial crisis were felt no less in Europe where entire countries became mired in bankruptcy and subsequently public austerity policies to offset bank bailouts. Austerity that still dominates public policy – eight years after the initial crash.
Goldman Sachs reportedly had a direct hand in saddling Greece with ballooning national debt by knowingly concealing the country’s shaky finances. The Greek debt crisis has threatened to tear down the entire EU, which has only been averted by brutal public spending cuts and immiseration borne by Greek workers, families and pensioners. The Greek debt time-bomb was primed during the years up to 2010 when Jose Manuel Barroso was head of the EU’s de facto central government – the unelected European Commission based in Brussels.
US Election Campaign: Shaping Policy on Russia
Donald Trump has secured the nomination of the Republican Party to become the next US president.
It has been a controversial campaign and the US policy on Russia is in the process of being shaped. While the media focused on Melania Trump’s plagiarism and other oddities during the Republican National Convention, something very important happened to provide a clue to the GOP presidential candidate’s stand on the issue. The Republican Party officially altered its platform on Ukraine and Russia.
Trump’s team proved its grip on the Republican Party is tight enough to make the entire institution adopt a new view on a major foreign policy issue. Trump-supporting delegates attending the GOP platform meeting in Cleveland insisted that the wording in the initial proposal be altered. They wrote a new amendment ruling out sending US weapons to Ukraine and made sure the new Republican platform does not include a provision calling for giving weapons to Ukraine to fight Russian and rebel forces, despite the fact that this view is widely supported by the GOP’s establishment.
The previous platform advocated «providing lethal defensive weapons» to Ukraine, reflecting the virtually unanimous position of the GOP foreign policy elite and national security leaders. Donald Trump won again.
Trump is a sober-minded politician known for his non-ideological, deal-making nature. Unlike other prominent Republicans, he harbors none of Russophobia. Trump realizes that sanctioning and the attempts to «isolate» Russia are bad for business and thriving business is what makes a nation great. He’s a pragmatic global dealmaker who keeps in mind the interests of an average Joe, not global imperial ambitions that make the US overloaded with international commitments and overstretched. Trump has exposed that the Republican party’s rank-and-file members are much less interventionist than previously thought. They don’t want confrontations or military operations abroad – the lessons and losses of Iraq and Afghanistan are too fresh. Trump has repeatedly said that radical Islamism and terrorism is a greater threat to Europe than Russia. He said he would «get along very well» with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Mike Flynn, foreign policy advisor to Trump, has suggested that Moscow and Washington join forces to counter Islamic State in the Middle East.

First, we had the admission this past week by a major French bank that Italian banks are so sick (and so too big to fail) they could cause systemic banking failure throughout Europe if not bailed out by over-taxed taxpayers. Lorenzo Bini Smaghi — who was a member of the European Central Bank’s executive board and who is now Chair of French megabank Societe Generale — said the only way to save European banks, if they start to fall like dominoes due to Italy’s banking problems, is with taxpayer-funded bailouts.
Europe’s banking market faces the risk of a systemic crisis unless governments accept the idea of taxpayer money as the ultimate recourse in a crisis, Bini Smaghi said. Any intervention should be as swift as possible, he said. (Newsmax)

Bahamas Issues Travel Advisory To Citizens Travelling To US, Young Males Asked To Exercise Extreme Caution
The Bahamas government Friday urged nationals to exercise caution if they intend on travelling to the United States following the shooting deaths of five police officers in Dallas on Thursday night.
The US authorities said that seven other police officers were shot and wounded as the lone sniper shot at white police officers in retaliation for the deaths of black people by police officers in recent days.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said it had taken note of the recent tensions in some American cities over shootings of young Black males by policemen.
“We wish to advise all Bahamians travelling to the US but especially to the affected cities to exercise appropriate caution generally. In particular young males are asked to exercise extreme caution in affected cities in their interactions with the police.
“Do not be confrontational and cooperate. If there is any issue please allow consular for the Bahamas to deal with the issues. Do not get involved in political or other demonstrations under any circumstances and avoid crowds,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

The Egyptian legislators conveyed their request to the Security Council (UNSC) on Friday,following the release of Britain’sChilcot inquiry report on Wednesday. The Brexit Vote Will Be Rigged
How important is the upcoming “Brexit” vote in the UK? In a recent commentary, it was noted that the current leader in French polling to become France’s next president is Marine Le Pen, of Front-National. Ms. Le Pen has already dubbed herself “Madame Frexit”, going back to the time of the “crisis” in Greece.
Given that the UK has never been fully “in” the European Union, a British vote to leave the EU would not, by itself, be a fatal blow for this fascist entity. But the effect of a Brexit vote on France would be twofold. First, it would undoubtedly provide a further boost in popularity for Ms. Le Pen. Secondly, it would strengthen the resolve toward Frexit among the large majority in France who already have an unfavorable opinion of the EU.

On June 23rd, a vote will be held in the United Kingdom to determine if Britain will stay in the European Union or not. This is most commonly known as the “Brexit” vote, and that term was created by combining the words “Britain” and “exit”. If the UK votes to stay in the European Union, things over in Europe will continue on pretty much as they have been. But if the UK votes to leave, it will likely throw the entire continent into a state of economic and financial chaos. And considering how bad the European economy is already, this could be the trigger that plunges Europe into a full-blown depression.
So if things will likely be much worse in the short-term if Britain leaves the EU, then it makes sense for everyone to vote to stay, right?
Unfortunately, it isn’t that simple. Because this choice is not about short-term economics. Rather, the choice is about long-term freedom.
The EU is a horribly anti-democratic bureaucratic monstrosity that is suffocating the life out of most of Europe a little bit more with each passing year. So if I was British, I would most definitely be voting to leave the EU.
And in recent days, the campaign to leave has been rapidly picking up steam. In fact, two of the latest major surveys show that “leave” has taken the lead…

Saudis Have Lost the Oil War
Poor Saudi Arabia. They don’t realize it yet but they have lost their oil war. The war in its current phase began in September, 2014, when the dying King Abdullah and his Minister of Petroleum, Ali Al-Naimi, told US Secretary of State John Kerry they would gladly join Washington in plunging world oil prices. It became clear the main Saudi motive was to eliminate the new growing challenge to their control of world oil markets by forcing prices so low that the US shale oil industry would soon go bankrupt. For Kerry and Washington the focus, of course, was to economically cripple Russia in the wake of new US sanctions by damaging their revenues from export of oil. Neither achieved their aim.
Now, however, it’s clear that Saudi Arabia, which along with Russia is the world’s largest oil producer, is going down a dark road to ruin. Washington seems more than happy to cheer them on.
The long-term Washington strategy since at least 1992, well before September 11, 2001 and the Washington’s declaration of its War on Terror, has been by hook or by crook, by color revolution or outright invasion, to directly, with US “boots-on-the-ground,” militarily control the vast oil reserves and output of the major Arab OPEC oil countries. This is a long-standing institutional consensus, regardless who is President.

US President Visits Vietnam
Last Monday, May 23, US President Barack Obama set off on his five-day trip to Asia, the tenth trip to this region in his eight-year presidency.
He spent the first three days in Vietnam. The agenda of the second part of the trip consisted of a regular G-7 summit scheduled for May 26 to be held in the Japanese resort town of Ise-Shima and a visit to the memorial complex in Hiroshima on the following day.
President Obama’s visit to Vietnam was no less important for the Pacific Rim and the US policy in this region than his participation in the G-7 summit, whose significance in the global politics is not to be exaggerated.
Mr. Obama’s visit as well as the results of his negotiations with the Vietnamese leadership will have a special implication for the development of the situation in the Southeast Asia, where tension has been as they say “smoothly and continuously” building up in the recent years.
The US and China, a great northern neighbor of Vietnam whose relations with Beijing have been declining almost as “smoothly and continuously as in the region on the whole, will be the key actors in this negative trend (which is considered one of the most dangerous in the contemporary political setup).
A miraculous metamorphosis in the relations between the former bitter enemies (US-Vietnamese relations were hostile in the 1950-80s), which has been unravelling in the last twenty five years, can be explained by the general deterioration of the situation in the region. Even at the end of the 1990s, such radical change in the relations defied imagination, although it was obvious that the two recent enemies had been searching for ways to resume dialogue.
Establishment of diplomatic relations in July of 2000 was the starting point in the improvement and development of bilateral relations. A grand celebration with participation of the former US President Bill Clinton, who initiated the thaw in relations, hosted by the US embassy in Hanoi last July, marked the 20th anniversary of this event.

This is the kind of ploy that an Intelligence agency would use to seed a repetitive fear message into the public’s consciousness via a series of high ranking officials to give support to a geopolitical psyops game they are running. We now have General Shirreff as a book end to American General Breedlove, who told us all about the amassed Russian army on Ukraine’s eastern border that was ready to sweep across Ukraine in three days.
The only problem with that tall tale was that despite Moscow’s holding long planned exercises in the area, none of the experienced observers who attended ever reported seeing this invasion army. Since that day, we have had a never ending echo chamber of claims of Russian aggression toward Europe, but where no one felt it was necessary to provide any proof. General Breedlove never showed us any satellite photos of all the huge stockpiles in forward bases that could have easily be viewable for an invasion, and he never apologized for the lie.
General Shirreff was not very creative in his scare pitch. He trotted out the false claim of Russia invading Georgia when it has long been on the record that the Georgian’s began the war with a general shelling of Tskhinvali. The Wikipedia version of event is a bad joke.
The classified story has Tskhinvali being shelled on and off during the early morning of August 8th while a large commando unit from a 3rd country was taking out the Russian peacekeepers positions and light armor to clear the way for the victorious Georgian army to roll in when dawn came. The visiting commandos flew home that morning and were not around when the Russians took their airfield base a few days later.
I share this with you because Shirreff trotted this out in his propaganda recital during his BBC interview, “He [Putin] has invaded Georgia, he has invaded the Crimea, he has invaded Ukraine. He has used force and got [sic] away with it.” And then the general dropped his nuclear bomb, “The chilling fact is that, because Russia hardwires nuclear thinking and capability to every aspect of their defense capability, this would be nuclear war.”
Shirreff was playing off ex-NATO General Wesley Clark’s tooting the Russian nuclear threat horn earlier in May to CNN with this silly comment, “They are using nuclear weapons in their military exercise as a means of deescalating a conflict, as though they could fire a nuclear weapon at, say, Warsaw, and then NATO would say, “Oh, my goodness, we did not know you really mean it,” the former NATO commander said.
These media interviews are all theater staging. NATO knows that Russia will be responding to the military moves to its borders and will use its advantage of internal lines of communication and whatever firepower needed to defend itself. After all, it is the US that changed its defense doctrine to include first strikes for really any reason it chose, giving itself a blank check. And this was done under Clinton in peacetime, mind you.
When Russia makes deployments to counter moves NATO has made, we will have maybe even these same generals doing more interviews that those moves are proof of Russia’s aggressive intentions. More than a few American military and intelligence people are embarrassed by this cheap manipulation of the public. The Russian threat is as non-existent as the Iran nuclear one that our Veterans Today’s nuclear expert Clinton Bastin, 40 years with the Dept. of Energy, debunked for us in detail before he died.
In fact, one of the most common shop talk themes among security people is “what is the new threat scam of the week” to prepare the public for some future move or build support for a new or expanded weapons system, or distract from runaway costs or technical failures like the F-35.
People are still struggling to get over the $4.4 billion cost of the USS Zumwalt destroyer, and that is not a typo. That money would have funded two Virginia class attack submarines during a time when the US force is declining. When doing a radio show with Mike Harris today, we were reminiscing when aircraft carriers were $4.5 billion and asking ourselves “what the hell happened… have these Navy planners gone nuts putting that much into a destroyer?”
Professor Michael Brenner hit that nail on the head in a recent Consortium News article, which described the Zumwalt as: “The titanosaur-sized price for that dubious gain hardly seems worth it when the much cheaper alternative is the promotion of qualified generals and Intelligence officials. The pity is not realizing at the outset that this greatest of all dinosaurs is actually a White Elephant.”
I agree with Brenner whole heartedly about the qualification issue. But that has many layers to it, including the one most are too embarrassed to discuss, and that is that of top military people wanting to enhance their post-retirement income by being big ticket weapons promoters while in uniform. Those not in the approval process can still earn future bonuses by hyping the need for hugely expensive systems.
But not only the military brass gets involved with this. After President Obama had promised to continue downsizing the US nuclear arsenal, something the Russians have always been game to do, also, he turned around and gave us a trillion dollar “rehab” or our old nukes. That seemed a little steep for a safety program, because it wasn’t.
The US has been up to its eyeballs in mini-nuke development for a long time, preparing for a future mass deployment of tactical nukes — an array of customized versions that would blow people’s minds. The technology allows for nuclear tank shells and mortars now, and the field commanders have dreams of getting their hands on these for the “one shot kill” power that would put at their disposal.
But what is shocking is their total lack of concern that as soon as these are used, sure they will be a major tactical advantage, but it would not take long before others had them also, and forces would be on the receiving end of these “one shot kill” weapons, meaning a target from a heavy bunker to a good sized base could be killed with one shot.
The development for these boutique nukes came under a loop hole in the test ban treaty, where triggers were exempted from the ban for safety reasons, due to deterioration their detonation was allowed. The mothballed old nuclear warheads are a huge supply of the needed material for the future arsenal of mini-nuke weapons.
And oh, I forgot to tell you that mini-nukes are basically triggers for big nukes. Computer modeling played a key role in reducing the extensive testing from the old days. So that is the nightmare that we are facing, these crazy people who think that mini-nuke warfare is the “smart way” to go, as you can put them on things like hypersonic cruise missiles to use as first-strike weapons, which would have almost no warning time.
That would mean responding to what appeared to be a first strike would require firing everything you had before it was destroyed. You can see now why certain parties do not want to have a public discussion about this evolution of defense policy, because the public would see quickly that this scenario is a huge security threat to them and their pocketbooks.
They would then be one step away from figuring out who would benefit economically from such crazy war gamesmanship strategy, and know who the real threat was that needed to be hunted down and dealt with. We need to fix this before we find ourselves in a very bad situation, where it might be too late to save ourselves.

Since the end of the Cold War, the United States of America has systematically violated the prohibition against the threat or use of force contained in the UN Charter and the Kellogg Briand Pact. It has carved out a regime of impunity for its crimes based on its UN Security Council veto, non-recognition of international courts and sophisticated “information warfare” that undermines the rule of law with political justifications for otherwise illegal threats and uses of force.
Former Nuremberg prosecutor Benjamin B. Ferencz has compared current U.S. policy to the illegal German “preemptive first strike” policy for which senior German officials were convicted of aggression at Nuremberg and sentenced to death by hanging.
In 2002, the late U.S. Senator Edward Kennedy described post-September 11th U.S. doctrine as “a call for 21st century American imperialism that no other nation can or should accept.” And yet the U.S. government has succeeded in assembling alliances and ad hoc “coalitions” to support threats and attacks on a series of targeted countries, while other countries have stood by silently or vacillated in their efforts to uphold international law. In effect, the U.S. has pursued a successful diplomatic policy of “divide and conquer” to neutralize global opposition to wars that have killed about 2 million people and plunged country after country into intractable chaos.
As representatives of civil society in the United States, the undersigned U.S. citizens and advocacy groups are sending this emergency appeal to our neighbors in our increasingly interconnected but threatened world. We ask you to stop providing military, diplomatic or political support for U.S. threats or uses of force; and to support new initiatives for multilateral cooperation and leadership, not dominated by the United States, to respond to aggression and settle international disputes peacefully as required by the UN Charter.
We pledge to support and cooperate with international efforts to stand up to and stop our country’s systematic aggression and other war crimes. We believe that a world united to uphold the UN Charter, the rule of international law and our common humanity can and must enforce U.S. compliance with the rule of law to bring lasting peace to the world we all share.

America’s & NATO’s Outrageous Behavior, Greatest Threat that Exists
On May 18th, two top people at NATO, one being its current Secretary General — the very top person — laid out in preliminary form the case for war against Russia, which presumably will be presented in more detail at the NATO Summit to be held in Poland on 8-9 July this year.
As if that weren’t bad enough, there’s the matter reported by Bryan Cloughly at Strategic Culture, headlining on May 19th, “Surging Towards yet Another War”, where he pointed out that “The United States has no territorial rights of any sort, in the South China Sea which is 7,000 miles (11,000 kilometres) from its west coast. There is nothing in international law that justifies its unilateral military ‘challenge’ to China’s presence” there, in that area which is contested between five countries: China, Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Brunei. The American government, which has no authority to speak for the entire world regarding international law — of which the U.S. itself has been perhaps the most frequent violator during the past 16 years — isn’t “policeman of the world,” certainly not judge and jury and executioner (well, maybe executioner) of the world, but instead it’s merely an aspiring global thug: “The Pentagon declared on 10 May that China’s ‘excessive maritime claims are inconsistent with international law as reflected in the Law of the Sea Convention in that they purport to restrict the navigation rights that the United States and all states are entitled to exercise’.” Cloughly points out that the U.S. “refuses to ratify the Law of the Sea Convention — while ordering every other country to abide by it.”

Chomsky: Mainstream Media Owned By Those Who Would Destroy Civilization With War
Outspoken activist and MIT professor Noam Chomsky.
MUNICH — During an interview published last month, noted scholar, linguist, philosopher and activist Noam Chomsky spoke out against the corporate-controlled media.
Six multinational corporations control most of the mainstream media outlets in America, and Chomsky is perhaps one of the best-known media analysts to criticize the deleterious effect this has on democracy and freedom of speech.
“The Mainstream Media are an ideological instrument. They have owners,” he said in the video recorded at a Nov. 17 panel on Germany’s role in world affairs, hosted by independent media outlet acTVism Munich.
Chomsky was responding to a question from Zain Raza, senior editor of acTVism, who asked why protests and other forms of activism are attacked by the media. As an example, he cited the frequent protests in Munich against NATO and the U.S. drone bombing program, which operates out of Ramstein Air Base, one of dozens of U.S. military bases in Germany.

Although the protests are based around opposition to war, Raza said the media frequently compares any mass movement to the rise of German fascism in an attempt to discredit the activists. “These grassroots actions are immediately associated to the nationalism of the 30s, that we are ‘uniting as a nation and standing up,’” he noted.
Chomsky responded that activists must always remember who controls the media, and what their motivations are for controlling the news. “They are based on existing institutions of power and domination within our societies, and that affects the way what they chose to discuss at all — some things they don’t discuss — and the ways in which they do it,” he said.
Actually, Chomsky suggested, condemnation from the mainstream media is often a sign that a movement is having a positive effect on humanity, which means it threatens the corporate bottom line.
“If these institutions condemn us, that’s pretty good reason to think we’re doing the right thing. It happens to be counter to their particular interests, but they don’t represent the public interest,” he explained. “They represent certain special interests of power and domination and privilege.”
Further, he noted that activism was more important than ever “if you care about the survival of the species — and that’s what is at stake.” He concluded:
“We should recognize that in the case of nuclear weapons, as well as environmental catastrophe, we are really talking about survival of the species. In the case of nuclear weapons, literal survival. And again I repeat — it’s come very close in the past and there is no reason to think that’s not going to repeat.”

The missile, which is expected to become operational sometime this year, is even turning heads in Washington and Beijing. According to Russian news reports:

What makes the RS-26 so terrifying? It has a range of 11,000 km and a continuously changing trajectory, meaning that it can very likely penetrate even the most advanced missile defense shields. And there’s more:
What makes the RS-26 so special is that even though it weighs just 80 tons, compared to the 120-ton heft of its RS-24 Yars predecessor, the Rubezh packs a frightening 1,2 megatons into its four 300 kiloton warheads.
Moreover, its booster stage is down to under five minutes, which means that NATO radars in Europe will have no time to register the launch.
Adding to NATO air defenders’ worries, during the descending section of its trajectory, with only a few hundred kilometers left to the target, the missile’s warheads suddenly take a dive, lose altitude, and continue the approach as a cruise missile.
There’s a lesson here, somewhere. Maybe, “don’t surround Russia with military bases”? Yes, maybe.
