Bannon’s group built the wall — a mile of it, anyway — over the weekend

BARCELONA, Spain — In what might be seen as a Memorial Day gift to President Trump, residents of a mountain range outside of El Paso today woke up to a new vista—a mile-long wall of metal slats constructed along the border with Mexico that just shot up over the weekend. The secret project, which started on Friday evening and was completed by Monday morning, was the work of We Build the Wall, a new group whose director is the former White House strategist Steve Bannon. The CEO is Air Force veteran Brian Kolfage, who had raised $20 million to build the wall through his GoFundMe project, but it appeared to be floundering until Bannon took the helm.

Bannon, who for much of the weekend was in Kazakhstan for a geopolitical seminar, says the project, overseen by construction mogul Tommy Fisher of North Dakota-based Fisher Industries, involved hundreds of workers and cost $6 million.

He says his group asked local authorities what is the most dangerous part of the border with Mexico, and they were pointed to this precarious mountain strip, “where the cartels and asylum seekers are coming in” through a gap between two 21-mile strips of completed wall. The group hastily “purchased the rights” to the land and went at it Friday evening. “We had to catch them by surprise,” says Bannon, who predicts residents are “gonna freak out” when they see what was erected over the past two days.

Perhaps construction is Bannon’s new calling. His political activities in Europe geared to shift the EU to the hard right didn’t go as well as anticipated in parliamentary elections this weekend. The nationalist and populist parties he’s been advising across the continent — among them Italy’s La Lega, headed by Matteo Salvini, and France’s National Rally party of Marine Le Pen — did make gains in elections. Both parties came in first in their respective countries, with National Rally beating out the La République en Marche party of French president Emmanuel Macron. However, others, such as Dutchman Geert Wilders’s anti-Islam Party of Freedom were trounced — losing all four of their currently held Parliament seats; the Bannon-advised anti-immigrant, anti-abortion Vox Party, a newcomer in Spain, which took 10 percent in last month’s national elections, scored scarcely 6 percent in this weekend’s elections. (Most EU countries saw record turnouts of over 50 percent.)

In total, the hard-right parties that Bannon had predicted would take at least 30 percent of seats — at points he suggested they might take half of the Parliament —causing an “earthquake” for the European Union, instead won scarcely 25 percent of seats. While the showing represented an increase over the 22 percent they gained in 2014 elections — it fell short of the one-third of the European Parliament’s 751 seats that would be required to form a bloc that could effectively hinder legislation and nominations to the higher ranks of the EU.

Chinese Military Ditching Microsoft Windows To Avoid CIA’s ‘Hefty Arsenal Of Hacking Tools’

Weeks after it was announced that Huawei will develop its own alternative to Android OS after being banned by Google from using it, ZDnet reports that the Chinese military will drop an alternative to Microsoft Windows.

While the decision hasn’t been made official, it was reported earlier this month by Canadian military magazine Kanwa Asian Defense, which noted that Beijing won’t just jump over to Linux – and will instead develop their own over fears of US surveillance (and of course, in retaliation for Huawei’s blacklisting).

Thanks to the Snowden, Shadow Brokers, and Vault7 leaks, Beijing officials are well aware of the US’ hefty arsenal of hacking tools, available for anything from smart TVs to Linux servers, and from routers to common desktop operating systems, such as Windows and Mac.

Since these leaks have revealed that the US can hack into almost anything, the Chinese government’s plan is to adopt a “security by obscurity” approach and run a custom operating system that will make it harder for foreign threat actors — mainly the US — to spy on Chinese military operations. –ZDnet

The new OS will be developed by a newly established “Internet Security Information Leadership Group” as reported by the Epoch Timesciting Kanwa.

The group does not trust the “UNIX” multi-user, multi-stroke operating system either, which is used in some of the servers within the People’s Liberation Army (PLA), Kanwa reported. Therefore, Chinese authorities ordered to develop an operating system dedicated to the Chinese military.

The group also believes that the German-developed programmable logic controller (PLC), used in 70 percent of China’s industrial control system today, poses huge risks to China’s national security. In its opinion, China is not a “network superpower,” but merely a “network giant,” Kanwa reported. Therefore, Chinese authorities have laid out plans to upgrade China’s network—to become more advanced in cyber technology. –Epoch Times

Huawei, meanwhile, is dropping Android OS for its own operating system, code-named HongMeng. It should be ready to launch in late 2019 domestically, and sometime in 2020 for international markets, according to TechRadar.

Americans fled the country to escape their giant student debt

Chadd Haag said he left the United States to escape his student debt. Now he lives in India.© Chadd Haag Chadd Haag said he left the United States to escape his student debt. Now he lives in India.Chad Haag considered living in a cave to escape his student debt. He had a friend doing it. But after some plotting, he settled on what he considered a less risky plan. This year, he relocated to a jungle in India. “I’ve put America behind me,” Haag, 29, said.

Today he lives in a concrete house in the village of Uchakkada for $50 a month. His backyard is filled with coconut trees and chickens. “I saw four elephants just yesterday,” he said, adding that he hopes never to set foot in a Walmart again.

More than 9,000 miles away from Colorado, Haag said, his student loans don’t feel real anymore. “It’s kind of like, if a tree falls in the woods and no one hears it, does it really exist?” he said.

Some student loan borrowers are packing their bags and fleeing from the U.S. to other countries, where the cost of living is often lower and debt collectors wield less power over them. Although there is no national data on how many people have left the United States because of student debt, borrowers tell their stories of doing so in Facebook groupsand Reddit channels and how-to advice is offered on personal finance websites.

“It may be an issue we see an uptick in if the trends keep up,” said Barmak Nassirian, director of federal relations at the American Association of State Colleges and Universities.

Outstanding student debt in the U.S. has tripled over the last decade and is projected to swell to $2 trillion by 2022. Average debt at graduation is currently around $30,000, up from an inflation-adjusted $16,000 in the early 1990s. Meanwhile, salaries for new bachelor degree recipients, also accounting for inflation, have remained almost flat over the last few decades.

Four Seasons of Jam

Jams and preserves honor the season’s abundance, for ones to come

May 27, 2019

Growing up, the pantry was always my favorite room in the house.

Every time I went to grab a jar of jam or a bottle of tomato sauce, my eyes would fondly pass over the collection of jars neatly aligned on the shelves, glistening in the dark, each labeled with my mum’s quick handwriting.

The pantry gave me a sense of safety and protection. It meant lazy breakfasts with homemade jam and toasted bread, improvised summer lunches revolving around a big shared bowl of pasta al Pomodoro, and Friday night pizzas with my family and a movie. It was a reminder that there was someone—my mum, in this case—always stocking the pantry with food, love, and memories of seasons past.

Mum’s Pantry

My mum would store in her pantry all the tomato preserves she had made during summer: the pelati, peeled tomatoes bottled with a single basil leaf; the passata, the simplest tomato puree made for pizza and as a starting point for pasta sauces; and the pomarola, a darker, flavorful tomato sauce enriched with carrots, celery, onion, and parsley. This would only need a knob of butter to dress a bowl of spaghetti or penne.

U.S. finally admits Agent Orange residue poisoned its own soldiers

After decades of denial, the Department of Veteran Affairs finally acknowledged that Monsanto’s Agent Orange, a herbicide sprayed across Vietnam during the war, was responsible for the health ailments of over 2,100 Air Force servicemen.

Federal officials have agreed to release over $45 million in disability benefits to Air Force active duty personnel and reservists who were exposed to Agent Orange from residue off C-123 aircraft, despite never having been to Vietnam.

The admission follows an Institute of Medicine study that concluded that “some C-123 reservists stationed in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts had been exposed to Agent Orange residues in the planes and suffered higher risks of health problems as a result,” according to a report from ABC.

“Opening up eligibility for this deserving group of Air Force veterans and reservists is the right thing to do,” said VA Secretary Bob McDonald in a statement.

The toxicity of Agent Orange

According to the non-partisan Aspen Institute in Washington D.C., Agent Orange was a herbicide used by the military to defoliate the Vietnamese jungle and expose Vietnam Cong and North Vietnamese troops using the jungle as a cover to move men and material to South Vietnam. Even though its use ended decades ago, the toxic contaminant of Agent Orange, dioxin, did not degrade as readily and is still causing health problems in Vietnam.

“The Red Cross estimates that three million Vietnamese have been affected by dioxin, including at least 150,000 children born with serious birth defects,” said the Institute. “Millions of Americans and Vietnamese are still affected, directly and indirectly, by the wartime U.S. spraying of Agent Orange and other herbicides over southern and central Vietnam.”

Monsanto is still in business

The payout is the least the government can do to compensate for all the years of suffering our servicemen had to endure. Unfortunately, despite the seemingly positive turn of events, injustice remains deeply rooted in our system. Monsanto, the corporation behind the deadly Agent Orange and the now destructive Roundup herbicide, continues to wield significant influence over the government and the mainstream media.

Funny, isn’t it? The military, after supporting the company through the purchase of millions of gallons of its herbicides, is now paying millions of dollars to deal with the aftermath of its deadly mistake – all the while, Monsanto and its cohorts continue to laugh all the way to the bank.

Quentin Tarantino Unloads on NYT Reporter Who Claimed He Limited the Female Role in ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’

Director Quentin Tarantino unloaded on a female reporter after she asked why Margot Robbie, the female star in his new film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, does not have a larger role.

“I reject your hypothesis,” Quentin Tarantino snapped at the reporter from the New York Times during a panel held Wednesday at the Cannes Film Festival, according to Variety.

Actress Robbie plays historic Hollywood starlet Sharon Tate who was murdered in 1969 by Charles Manson’s cultists. But Tarantino’s film mostly follows the lives of a struggling TV actor named Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) and stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt). Tate is a side character in the film.

Tarantino was visibly annoyed by the query, but Robbie, who was also on the panel, jumped in to try and answer the reporter’s question.

“I think the moments I was on screen gave a moment to honor Sharon,” Robbie said. “I think the tragedy was the loss of innocence. To show the wonderful sides of her could be done without speaking. I did feel like I got a lot of time to explore the character without dialogue, which is an interesting thing. Rarely do I get an opportunity to spend so much time on my own as a character.”

Earlier in the presser, star Leonardo DiCaprio said that the movie, which has received mostly positive reviews, is a love letter to the Hollywood he grew up in and reveres.

“I think this movie is a love story to this industry,” DiCaprio told the press. “We studied people from Ralph Meeker to Eddie Byrne, all these actors whose work [Tarantino] really appreciates from an artistic perspective, who contributed in his mind to cinematic and television achievements. That was most touching about the story. It’s a love letter to this industry we’re so fortunate to work in.”

For his part, Brad Pitt said his co-star, with whom he worked with for the very first time, was a great partner.

“It’s that thing of knowing you got the best of the best on the opposite side of the table holding up the scene with you,” Pitt said. “We had similar experiences to laugh about. I hope we do it again.”

Second American Revolution – Reflections on the Near Future

The Second American Revolution – Reflections on the Near Future

Professor Igor Panarin is correct – absent a counter-revolution, the USA will disintegrate.

MAY 2019 ADDENDUM: These reflections, published free online in November 2018, can in the light of recent events be read in the context that it is now clear that President Donald Trump is moving ahead with Global Currency Reset initiatives, and that we can expect the initiatives I outlined below prior to his massive 4th of July celebration. He continues to resist on disclosure, perhaps believing that free energy (ET/UFO disclosure) and Zionist perfidy (9/11 disclosure) are best left to the second term. I continue to give our President the benefit of the doubt while producing a weekly Election 2020 report free online.

If he cancels the federal income tax (substituting the transaction tax applied to all transactions including stock and currency transactions) and announces a student education and elderly health debt jubilee, he is locked in. Yet to be settled are the issues of Free Speech, Right to Bear Arms, and the cutting of the federal budget in half starting with defense, which is 50% waste and cannot win wars.

I will continue to do what I can to support the President from the sidelines, including a constant challenge to Zionist lies and the creation of an open path to direct dialog between President Trump and the leadership of Iran; publishing my articles censored by the Zionists via #GoogleGestapo (see especially TRUMP vs. THE DEEP STATE: Recent Reflections of a Former US Spy & Marine Corps Officer (Trump Revolution Book 35), and planning for Web 3.0 where Bill Binney’s Thin Thread, Satoshi’s advanced crypto, and the ideas I have accumulated and developed from many others, will deliver a truth channel that cannot be censored or manipulated: Ed Jewett: GoogleNews Bias Robert Steele: Lawsuit & Displacement of #GoogleGestapo with Four Nested Capabilities (Web 3.0).

God Bless America – and every person of faith who rejects Zionism, Nazism, Satanism, and the predatory cosmic elements that are now on the run – good is in triumph. St.

God Bless America!…….

NY Times forced to admit that yes, 2016 Trump campaign WAS spied on by Obama — where are the admissions from the rest of the fake news media?

Image: NY Times forced to admit that yes, 2016 Trump campaign WAS spied on by Obama — where are the admissions from the rest of the fake news media?

(Natural News) For more than two years — before POTUS Donald Trump declared in March 2017 that the Obama regime ‘eavesdropped’ on his campaign — this site and others in our network reported that the Deep State had launched an operation to spy on Team Trump 2016.

And though we didn’t have nearly all the answers then, instinctively we were certain that eavesdropping was part of a larger effort to undermine the president’s campaign and help his corrupt rival, Hillary Clinton.

After two years and many other examples, The New York Times, which actually first reported on the “wiretapping” by the Obama White House, has finally admitted that, yes indeed, there were spies (plural!) the former administration attempted to implant in the Trump campaign in what we now know was a brazen attempt to disrupt POTUS’ candidacy.

The Times report began:

The conversation at a London bar in September 2016 took a strange turn when the woman sitting across from George Papadopoulos, a Trump campaign adviser, asked a direct question: Was the Trump campaign working with Russia?

The paper went on to report that the woman’s name is Azra Turk; she became the secondperson known to have been sent by the Obama deep state intelligence apparatus to gain access to the Trump campaign so as to sabotage it from the inside.

The first was longtime FBI asset and Cambridge University Professor Stefan Halper, who not only tried to infiltrate the Trump campaign but also tried to get a job with the incoming administration so he could undermine the new president as a so-called ‘fifth columnist.’

The Times attempted to brush off Turk’s involvement (and, by default, Stefan’s) in attempting to infiltrate the Trump campaign as an effort by an ‘anxious’ FBI overly concerned about Russian espionage. But that excuse doesn’t wash because the so-called “Russian collusion” narrative used by the Obama deep state all along to justify the spying was fabricated.

There never was any concerted Russian effort to penetrate the Trump campaign. And even so, there was never any chance that Moscow (or any other nation for that matter) could muster the wherewithal and resources to alter an American election.

Obama himself even said such a feat would be literally impossible.

The establishment media has destroyed our unity over a lie

What is so galling about this ‘admission’ by the Times — two years after the paper itself reported that Team Trump had been “wiretapped” by Obama — is that a) the paper enabled the collusion hoax to perpetuate in the interceding months and years, even going so far as to publish several fake news stories to nurture it; and b) that this latest admission story is still based on the premise that the hoax was real.

It wasn’t. It never has been real. Obama knows that; the Times knew it. And so did the rest of the so-called “establishment” media like the Washington Post and CNN. But where are their mea culpas? Where are their retractions? Corrections? Admissions that their unhinged proclamations about Trump’s alleged guilt over the past two years were absolutely false?

The fact that there were three primary ‘news’ sources — the Times, the Post, and CNN — that even got these Russian collusion bombshell/dud stories ought to have told you the media circle for perpetuating the hoax was very small, thus ensuring that fewer people were in on the scam.

The American people were extremely divided after eight years of Obama as it was. Using the collusion hoax as a springboard, the American ‘mainstream’ media was complicit in using it to keep the masses stirred up and Democrat supporters fed a steady diet of suspicion and hate.

The Post, CNN, and the other establishment media hacks will never apologize for perpetuating the collusion lie and keeping Americans at each other’s throats. But in a bit of irony, they have all but destroyed their credibility in the process.

Trump Denounces Facebook, Twitter Censorship of Conservative Commentators

May 5, 2019 Updated: May 6, 2019

President Donald Trump came to the defense of popular conservative commentators who have been censored by tech companies in a series of 13 tweets and retweets between May 3 and May 4 after Facebook banned several influential figures from its social media platforms the previous day.

Trump warned that he is monitoring “the censorship of AMERICAN CITIZENS on social media platforms.”

“This is the United States of America—and we have what’s known as FREEDOM OF SPEECH!” he said. “We are monitoring and watching, closely!!”

He also reposted commentary on the alleged censorship from several prominent right-wing figures, including The Daily Wire Executive Producer Jeremy Boreing, journalist and activist Lauren Southern, and commentator Paul Joseph Watson—who were among those purged by Facebook.

“So surprised to see Conservative thinkers like James Woods banned from Twitter, and Paul Watson banned from Facebook!” Trump said in another tweet.
