Cher: Russia Didn’t Hack Election, Democrats Are Just ‘Out-Of-Touch’

Pop star Cher says that Democrats need to stop blaming Russia for their election loss and face up to the facts: their leadership is corrupt, old, and out-of-touch with America – particularly young Americans.

In an interview with Billboard published Friday, the septuagenarian singer said the old Democratic party leaders, led by the corrupt and charisma-free Hillary Clinton, flat-out failed to connect voters.

The Democrats f*cked up so bad in their message, and how old [the leadership] is,” Cher said, before going on to suggest that the DNC is a money-making scheme for those in the inner circle. “You’ve got to pray that old people die before young people can get involved with the party.”

Clinton fired the FBI director the day before Vince Foster was found dead

Image: Bill Clinton fired the FBI director the day before Vince Foster was found dead

On Tuesday, Donald Trump sent waves through the political community when he made the decision to fire FBI director James Comey. While the media went on to compare Trump to Richard Nixon over the incident, and #Nixonian was trending Tuesday night, Nixon never fired his FBI director. In fact, only one president in the history of the US has done this before and that was Bill Clinton.

In 1993, President Clinton ousted William Sessions as FBI director after Sessions refused to voluntarily step down amid ethical concerns. Sessions, who was appointed by Ronald Reagan, had been under investigation over an alleged tax scheme.

When asked to resign by Clinton, Sessions refused and so Clinton fired him.

In 1993, the LA Times wrote: “The Justice Department report found, among other things, that Sessions had engaged in a sham transaction to avoid paying taxes on his use of an FBI limousine to take him to and from work, that he had billed the government for a security fence around his home that provided no security and that he had arranged business trips to places where he could meet with relatives.”

Sessions was never found guilty of a crime.

The Unconventional President: Donald Trump Shakes Washington to Its Core by Firing Comey

President Donald Trump’s shocking decision to fire FBI director James Comey on Tuesday evening represents the latest in a political outsider’s crusade against entrenched Washington.

The unusual move—a surprise to say the least—has drawn the usual critics against Trump from the media, Democratic Party and even those inside his own GOP. Regardless of the bickering back and forth between Trump and his usual District of Columbia critics over the reasoning, timing and thinking behind it, the move to fire Comey is the latest development in a true outsider’s war on Washington.

President Donald Trump indicated that he would sign the Republican Budget agreement with Democrats, despite growing dissent from his base that Congressional Republicans caved on important priorities.

Economic Reality: Bottom 50% Of Americans No Longer Matter

Previously, the bottom third did not matter. Then the bottom 40% did not matter. Now the bottom 50% do not matter. Brexit was the first warning shot. Trump was the second. As soon as the bottom 65% don’t matter, those 65% may vote to take matters into their own hands.

Self-Sustainable Lifestyles are Becoming Illegal

Across the U.S. local zoning officials are making it increasingly difficult for people to go off-grid and live self-sustainable lives. Building tiny homes, harvesting rainwater, using solar or wind energy, and even building community gardens are being targeted and in some cases, the people involved are even threatened with jail time and fines.

No, the NSA Has NOT Stopped Spying On Americans’ Emails

George Washington's picture

The NSA announced Friday that they would stop the controversial program which sweeps up all emails and text messages which an American exchanges with someone overseas that makes reference to a real target of NSA surveillance.

By way of background, if Russia’s Putin was an NSA target, and an American received an email from a Russian saying “I hate Putin”, then that American could be surveilled by the NSA.

Washington’s Blog asked Bill Binney what he thought of the NSA’s announcement.

Binney is the NSA executive who created the agency’s mass surveillance program for digital information, who served as the senior technical director within the agency, who managed six thousand NSA employees, the 36-year NSA veteran widely regarded as a “legend” within the agency and the NSA’s best-ever analyst and code-breaker, who mapped out the Soviet command-and-control structure before anyone else knew how, and so predicted Soviet invasions before they happened (“in the 1970s, he decrypted the Soviet Union’s command system, which provided the US and its allies with real-time surveillance of all Soviet troop movements and Russian atomic weapons”).  Binney is the real McCoy.  Binney has been interviewed by virtually all of the mainstream media, including CBS, ABC, CNN, New York Times, USA Today, Fox News, PBS and many others.

Specifically, we asked Binney:

Do you buy it? https://www.yahoo.com/tech/us-nsa-spy-agency-halts-controversial-email-sweep-215107654.html

Or do you think they’re just collecting under a different authorization/program?

Binney responded:

Short answer, NO.

This is a farce given the bulk continuous domestic data collection and storage from the Upstream programs: Fairview, Stormbrew and Blarney. [Here’s background on Fairview/Stormbrew/Blarney.]

This FAA 702 [Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act] has been a charade from the beginning. [Specifically, the NSA is spying on all Americans under Executive Order 12333, and only talking about Section 702 to confuse people as to what they’re doing.]

It was a way to make people/congress/judiciary think that they were trying to conform to the law.

And, by spreading false information, which our useless MSM fail to challenge, it’s a way of subverting our republic – all done in secret with only a few people in the know of what really is going on.

Meanwhile in the background, NSA through program “Muscular” was unilaterally tapping the fiber lines between Google and Yahoo and others data centers; so that when they backed up their data between centers, NSA got it all and the companies did not even know that was happening.

5 Best and 5 Worst Moments of Trump’s First 100 Days

As President Donald Trump’s first 100 days draw to a close, Americans are deeply divided about his job performance, though a slim majority agree that he is keeping his promises (even if they do not like those promises).

By historical standards, Trump has led a very active presidency thus far, stunning his opponents with a battery of executive actions, but facing stiff “resistance” from the opposition and the courts.

Here are the five best moments — and the five worst.

Best:

1. Speech to Congress. Trump shocked his critics with a stirring address to a special joint session of Congress on Feb. 28 that was optimistic, inclusive, and precise, yet emotional. A CNN poll suggested that four out of five Americans viewed the speech positively. Key quote: “I am asking all citizens to embrace this Renewal of the American Spirit. I am asking all members of Congress to join me in dreaming big, and bold and daring things for our country.”

2. Syrian air strike. Trump said he would respond to the Syrian regime’s use of chemical weapons against civilians, and promptly did so. The U.S. Navy launched 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles at the air base from which the chemical attack had been launched. In so doing, Trump enforced the “red line” that President Barack Obama had failed to patrol. The attacks also sent a message to China — whose president was eating dessert with Trump at the moment of the attack.

3. Neil Gorsuch confirmation. Trump fulfilled a core campaign promise by appointing a constitutional conservative, Judge Neil Gorsuch, to the Supreme Court seat formerly held by the late Antonin Scalia. Gorsuch did extremely well in his confirmation hearings. When Democrats carried out a threat to filibuster, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell found enough Republican votes to change the rules, meaning that future Trump nominees would have an easier path.

4. Congressional Review Act. Trump used a 20-year-old law, passed by President Bill Clinton but rarely used since, that allows Congress to repeal regulations within a 60-day window. Because many of the Obama administration’s regulations had not been reported to Congress, the 60-day window had not begun for them, and so Congress could repeal them. Trump signed repeal bills for 13 regulations issued under Obama, rolling back the administrative state.

5. Immigration enforcement. Even without the proposed border wall in place (or funded), Trump’s new Cabinet — especially Secretary of Homeland Security John Kelly, and Attorney General Jeff Sessions — ramped up law enforcement, deporting criminal illegal aliens and sending a clear signal to potential illegal immigrants that they ought not try their luck. Illegal border crossings were down by nearly two-thirds over the same period the year before.

Worst:

5. Crowd size fight. The Trump administration pushed back against the mainstream media’s efforts to talk down the size of the crowd at President Trump’s inauguration — but pushed too far, offering “alternative facts” about attendance that were later proven to be incorrect. That set the stage for a testy relationship with the press, provided material to Saturday Night Live satirists, and hurt the credibility of the new administration with the public, at least at the outset.

4. Michael Flynn departure. National Security Adviser Michael Flynn resigned after allegedly providing incorrect information to Vice President Mike Pence about the content of his conversation with the Russian ambassador during the transition period. The departure added fuel to Democrats’ theories of a Russian conspiracy to elect Trump — and showed that there are limits to how far the Trump administration is prepared to go in defying the mainstream media.

3. Leaks. For an administration with a famously cold approach to the mainstream media, the Trump White House seemed to leak — from all sides — to mainstream media outlets. Journalists used scraps of information to create internal rivalries in the West Wing — which may, or may not, have been real, but which reinforced a public image of instability. The leaks, and the supposed rivalries, seemed to settle toward the end of the first 100 days, amidst staff reshuffles.

2. Immigration executive order rollout. When Trump signed an executive order suspending travel from seven terror-prone countries, he knew it would face opposition, but probably underestimated the strength of the pushback. Protests broke out at airports nationwide, and became a rallying point for anti-Trump activists building a broader “resistance” movement. Liberal judges blocked the order — and the amended version that followed, freezing the president’s policy.

1. American Health Care Act. The White House tried to push conservative Republicans to vote for the House leadership’s legislation to replace Obamacare. But neither Speaker of the House Paul Ryan nor the president himself could sway enough votes to save the bill — which Senate Republicans had already declared dead on arrival. A second attempt to pass an amended bill in late April also foundered — this time because of a lack of support from moderates.

German Paper: US Media Got It Wrong, Ivanka Wasn’t Booed

PETER HASSON

US media reports that Ivanka Trump was booed in Germany are false, according to German paper Bild.

“Many people were surprised by Ivanka Trump’s performance in Berlin. Contrary to the stereotype, the daughter of the US President made a sophisticated and level-headed impression at the panel discussion with Chancellor Angela Merkel, Queen Máxima of the Netherlands, and head of the IMF, Christine Lagarde. The glamorous White House ambassador also cleverly handled a controversial issue,” the paper reports.

“US media, however, are focusing on something else: they claim that Ivanka was booed and sneered at.”

According to the paper, there was “some unrest” in the audience, but nothing like US media outlets reported. CNN reported that Ivanka was booed and hissed by the crowd when she defended her father.”Ivanka Trump Got Jeered in Germany, and Late Night Joins In,” wrote The New York Times. Time Magazine devoted not one but two stories to pushing the narrative that Ivanka was booed. The Washington Post pushed out a piece titled, “Germany booed Ivanka Trump. America says she doesn’t belong in the White House.”

According to Bild, however, such claims by the media didn’t resembles what actually happened. “There was no booing or heckling at all, however,” Bild reports.

“This makes it even more surprising that US media are painting an entirely different picture of Ivanka’s appearance in Berlin. The murmuring that could be heard as Ivanka defended her father against criticism was interpreted as massive booing of the President’s daughter.”

The Health Ranger reveals to President Trump how to “take out CNN” with a single signature

Image: The Health Ranger reveals to President Trump how to “take out CNN” with a single signature

President Donald Trump can take down CNN and the other fake media outlets, by signing one executive order, the Health Ranger reveals. In a new YouTube video, Mike Adams says that it only takes one simple signature, and CNN and other fake news media will be no more. This particular executive order will slash 70% off revenues of the fake mainstream media, and it can be done virtually overnight.

The Health Ranger reports that most of the mainstream media is predominantly funded by drug advertising. Drug companies provide up to 70% of revenues of mainstream media. Even though mainstream media outlets do not have a significant number of audience, they are still “relevant” because they are being heavily funded by the big pharmaceutical industry. Drug ads on these media outlets provide a reliable and steady stream of money so they can keep running. But prior to 1997, advertising drugs was illegal. In other words, these drug companies could not advertise directly to their consumers. Their main method of advertising was through medical journals, which are also owned by the drug companies.

Pharmaceutical companies are the ones that determine which articles are published in these journals and which are not. That’s why most of these medical journals are “prostitutes” for the pharmaceutical industry, saysMike Adams. However, direct-to-consumer (DTC) advertising was legalized by the FDA in 1997.

Mike Adams is a prolific scientist who has made numerous discoveries and pursues lab research in the public interest. He has made multiple discoveries such as the revelation of rice protein products imported from South Korea that were contaminated with toxic heavy metals. The Health Ranger was also the first ever food scientist to record the high concentrations of tungsten in various superfoods. Adams directs the non-profit Consumer Wellness Center (CWC). It is an organization that transfers 100 percent of its donations to grant program specializing in teaching children and women to grow their own food to significantly enhance their nutrition. Through CWC, the Health Ranger also founded Nutrition Rescue. It is a program that donates to people in need of essential vitamins. His online store HealthRangerStore.com offers organic superfoods to boost health.

The FDA simply announced that it will allow drug advertisements directly to consumers. This practice has no logical and medical justification whatsoever. It’s the insane practice that has made healthcare in the United States not affordable. It has dramatically increased the drug prices up to a thousand percent. Clearly, the drug industry is funneling money to the mainstream media by pushing drug ads.

This practice is illegal everywhere else in the world except in New Zealand, according to Adams. But now that Trump is in charge (officially) of the FDA, he can sign an executive order that says “Direct-to-consumer advertising shall no longer be allowed by the FDA.”

TV advertising of pharmaceuticals is a violation of basic medical honesty. Furthermore, it causes massive inflation in drug pricing, consequently bankrupting the government, the healthcare system, the pensions, and many more. This folly has to stop. If, and when, President Trump signs the executive order, the fake mainstream media will lose substantial revenues. Remember that 70% of the revenues the media outlets are enjoying come from the drug industry.

Who will replace these so-called mainstream media outlets if they are swept away? Well, independent media such as Natural News will replace them. Rest assured that the independent media do not take money from drug advertising.

NYT: Dissecting Bannon’s Worldview from ‘The Fourth Turning’

Jeremy Peters of the New York Times analyzes a generational theory book titled The Fourth Turning, which has played a significant role in shaping the worldview of White House strategist Steve Bannon.

In the book, amateur historians William Strauss and Neil Howe argue that American history can be charted in a cycle of four stages — growth, maturation, entropy, and destruction — with the concluding crisis period emerging every 80 years. According to this theory, the last crisis was nearly 80 years ago with World War II; and hence, the next crisis will soon be upon us. Peters provides excerpts from the book and then suggests what they might mean for our current political climate.

From the New York Times:

The ‘Deconstruction of the Administrative State,’ and Much More, Is Inevitable

“The Fourth Turning will trigger a political upheaval beyond anything Americans could today imagine. New civic authority will have to take root, quickly and firmly — which won’t be easy if the discredited rules and rituals of the old regime remain fully in place. We should shed and simplify the federal government in advance of the Crisis by cutting back sharply on its size and scope but without imperiling its core infrastructure.”

The rhythmic, seasonal nature of history that the authors identify foresees an inevitable period of decay and destruction that will tear down existing social and political institutions. Mr. Bannon has famously argued that the overreaching and ineffective federal government — “the administrative state,” as he calls it — needs to be dismantled. And Mr. Trump, he said, has just begun the process.

As Mr. Howe said in an interview with The Times: “There has to be a period in which we tear down everything that is no longer functional. And if we don’t do that, it’s hard to ever renew anything. Forests need fires, and rivers need floods. These happen for a reason.”

Government directly admits vaccines cause injury and death in table published by HHS

The government is not quite known for always being on the up-and-up when it comes to reporting certain information and making public what the public deserves to know. Information in documents has been blacked out with marker, loopholes change with the wind and doublespeak runs rampant. That, we know.

Here’s the part you should sit down for, because a rare admission has just been announced by the government and — gasp — it has to do with that V-word, vaccinations.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has made public a rundown of health conditions and associated vaccinations, charting out a slew of health consequences that are likely to result from getting such shots. Aptly titled the “Vaccine Injury Table,” the information appears on the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program portion of the HHS site. It succinctly breaks down what’s likely to happen to an individual in the event they’re given certain vaccinations.

HHS: Get certain vaccinations, risk possible anaphylactic shock, death

Introductory information that precedes the table, says, “…if you received the tetanus vaccines and had a severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) within 4 hours after receiving the vaccine, then it is presumed that the tetanus vaccine caused the injury if no other cause is found.” Considering the great deal of wishy-washy statements offered by the government, mainstream media and those who subscribe to their expertise on the subject, this statement is as close to an admission that vaccinations are detrimental to health that we’ve read from the government.

The HHS table goes on to outline very specific ailments that are linked to particular vaccines. For example, the chart explains that the tetanus shot is linked to anaphylaxis or anaphylactic shock, which can occur within four hours of injection. The exact scenario can also unfold with the MMR or hepatitis B shot. Death, disability and injury are also listed as possible outcomes of receiving such shots, although the time period for those specific results cases comes with evasive “not applicable” wording.

The table is an important step in that the government is publicly showcasing the horrors that can unfold at the hands of vaccinations. It shatters previously-held “all vaccinations are safe” mentalities, laying out in plain sight the toll such injections can take on a person.

Like dominoes, many organizations still continue to push notion that vaccinations are OK until everyone falls in line

However, there are still those running around with their hands covering their ears, drinking the Vaccination Kool-Aid.

It’s like a game of mental dominoes. What happens to one quickly becomes the mind set for others who quickly fall in line at the hand of those in control. In this case, we’re talking about pro-vaccination folks who have jumped on the “vaccinations are safe” train, following the path of those that came before them and, like out of control dominoes, mow others down with thoughts that it’s OK for humans to inject one another with toxins.

Here’s an example of how this works:

On the portion of its web site that talks about influenza, the World Health Organization (WHO) states that “Vaccination is the most effective way to prevent infection and severe outcomes caused by influenza viruses.” Then the American Academy of Pediatrics’ (AAP) site embraces this “WHO said it, so it must be true” mind set, saying on their own site that WHO reviewed the AAP’s Immunization Web Site, suggesting that the information presented must therefore be true.

As such, the AAP’s site says that “Vaccines contain many ingredients that make them safer and more effective, including preservatives, adjuvants, and other ingredients.” Since when were preservatives and mysterious “other ingredients” considered safe?

What’s more disturbing is that this statement appears just below their subhead titled, “Thimerosal, Aluminum, & Other Ingredients.” Looks like the AAP needs to take a Thirmerosal 101 class; it contains mercury and is used in vaccines! Enough said. But then again, WHO reviewed this information, so we can all sleep better at night knowing that the vials of toxins that await us at our local supermarket pharmacy are A-OK.

As with anything that impacts our health, it’s important to stay informed. Continually ask questions, stay informed by reading what’s reported on NaturalNews and do what’s in the best for your ethical standards and overall health.

BOMBSHELL: CIA Whistleblower Leaked Proof Trump Under “Systematic Illegal” Surveillance Over Two Years Ago: FBI Sat On It

ZeroPointNow's picture

The same day House Intelligence Committee chairman Devin Nunes gave a press conference disclosing that President Trump had been under “incidental surveillance,” Attorney and FreedomWatch Chairman, Larry Klayman, sent a letter to the House Committee on Intelligence imploring them to pursue the claims and evidence presented under oath at a Washington DC FBI Field Office by his client – CIA / NSA Whistleblower Dennis Montgomery – who Klayman claims “holds the keys to disproving the false claims…   …that there is no evidence that the president and his men were wiretapped”

When Montgomery attempted to deliver this information through the appropriate channels two years ago, the former CIA and NSA contractor wasn’t given the time of day:

[W]hen Montgomery came forward as a whistleblower to congressional intelligence committees and various other congressmen and senators, including Senator Charles Grassley, Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, who, like Comey, once had a reputation for integrity, he was “blown off;” no one wanted to even hear what he had to say.

As a result, Montgomery went to attorney and FreedomWatch founder Larry Klayman – who then approached the FBI:

Under grants of immunity, which I obtained through Assistant U.S. Attorney Deborah Curtis, Montgomery produced the hard drives and later was interviewed under oath in a secure room at the FBI Field Office in the District of Columbia. There he laid out how persons like then-businessman Donald Trump were illegally spied upon by Clapper, Brennan, and the spy agencies of the Obama administration.

Montgomery left the NSA and CIA with 47 hard drives and over 600 million pages of information, much of which is classified, and sought to come forward legally as a whistleblower to appropriate government entities, including congressional intelligence committees, to expose that the spy agencies were engaged for years in systematic illegal surveillance on prominent Americans, including the chief justice of the Supreme Court, other justices, 156 judges, prominent businessmen such as Donald Trump, and even yours truly. Working side by side with Obama’s former Director of National Intelligence (DIA), James Clapper, and Obama’s former Director of the CIA, John Brennan, Montgomery witnessed “up close and personal” this “Orwellian Big Brother” intrusion on privacy, likely for potential coercion, blackmail or other nefarious purposes.

He even claimed that these spy agencies had manipulated voting in Florida during the 2008 presidential election, which illegal tampering resulted in helping Obama to win the White House.

Given the fact that the FBI had Montgomery’s testimony and evidence for over two years, Klayman traveled to Washington DC last Thursday to meet with Committee Chairman Devin Nunes in the hopes that he would ask FBI Director Comey why the FBI hadn’t pursued Montgomery’s evidence. When Klayman arrived to speak with Nunes, he was “blown off” and instead shared his information with committee attorney Allen R. Souza – who Klayman requested in turn brief Nunes on the situation.

During my meeting with House Intelligence Committee counsel Allen R. Sousa I politely warned him that if Chairman Nunes, who himself had that same day undercut President Trump by also claiming that there is no evidence of surveillance by the Obama administration, I would go public with what would appear to be the House Intelligence Committee’s complicity in keeping the truth from the American people and allowing the FBI to continue its apparent cover-up of the Montgomery “investigation.”

And, that is where it stands today. The big question: will House Intelligence Committee Chairman Nunes do his job and hold FBI Director Comey’s feet to the fire about the Montgomery investigation?

Newt Rips into Comey, Calls Today’s Testimony ‘Pathetic’

We all knew the shills at the FBI were ‘investigating’ Russian phantoms, hoping to find more nothing. If we learned anything at all from today’s morose testimony by James Comey it is that he’s unwilling to confirm investigations were underway, or even considered, to reveal the leakers that keep disseminating sensitive information to the press. Bear in mind, this is a felony punishable up to 10 years in ape raping prison, yet no one seems the least bit interested in who was committing them.

We can hardly conclude that Comey is a democratic shill, considering he was instrumental in making Hillbot look like a literal prisoner one week before the elections — with the announcement of his pointless investigation which he later redacted.

What sort of game is Comey playing anyway? He confirms Russian investigation but will not confirm investigation into felonious leaks?

Newt weighed in on the matter which he described as ‘idiotic’ — confounded at the juxtaposition of Comey freely admitting to investing Russian phantoms, but unwilling to even say he might look into the leaks.

Pray tell me, why?

What sort of game is Comey playing anyway? As far as I can tell, he’s a bull in a China shop just making a mess and a lot of noise — but doing nothing other than that. Lots of accusations are flying on both ends, but nothing is ever revealed or concluded. He’s probably the most universally hated man in America, from both sides of the aisle, yet there he is shilling away.

How can anyone believe a word coming out of this man’s mouth?

Ivanka Trump Will Get Her Own West Wing Office, Receive Classified Briefings

20 March 2017

As of Monday, Ivanka Trump will officially get a West Wing office and receive access to classified information even though she’s not technically a government employee, according to The Associated Press.

An attorney for the first daughter said that while she’ll have no official title, she will work out of the White House while following the same ethics rules that apply to government employees.

Ivanka Trump has already come under scrutiny for her appearances at a number of foreign leader visits with her father as there’s little precedent for the first family members having this kind of influence.

Federal anti-nepotism laws are in place to keep relatives from being appointed to government positions but since the President has “special hiring authority” he has hired Jared Kushner to the West Wing staff and that Trump could consult Ivanka as a private citizen.

Google is quietly recording everything you say

Image: Google is quietly recording everything you say

The commercial release of always-listening electronic devices like Amazon Echo and Google Home has sparked newfound outrage over the idea that corporations, and even the government, can now secretly listen in on people’s private conversations. But truth be told, Google has already been doing this type of thing for years with its popular search engine portal, which is fully capable of tracking what you type and search, and even what you say.

A new report by the Independent (U.K.) explains how Google is able to record and store the private conversations of its users who are logged into their accounts. Google account holders can log in and actually look at a full history of their internet searches, their browsing history, and even conversations that were recorded by Google via built-in computer microphones.

Not every Google user is tracked like this, but many are, the report claims. Google says it records users for the purpose of better recognizing their voices, which in turn helps improve the functionality of Google’s various language recognition tools. By going to Google’s history page while logged into their accounts, users will find a full listing of whatever Google has captured about them, including random conversations of people who may have been near the computer recording them without them knowing it.

“The recordings can function as a kind of diary, reminding you of the various places and situations that you and your phone have been in,” The Independent explains. “But it’s also a reminder of just how much information is collected about you, and how intimate that information can be.”

FBI: Laptops can secretly record video, too

The way these types of systems work, particularly on smartphones, is that they are always listening and are voice activated. Some of the latest Android phones, for instance, can be activated at any time by a user simply saying out loud, “Okay, Google.” Similarly, the latest Apple iPhones are equipped with technology that lets users speak directly to “Siri” without even having to press a button.

In order to hear a person talking, though, these devices have to always be listening. Their manufacturers claim that they only identify the key words that activate them, and regard the rest of the chatter as white noise. But it’s clear with Google’s search engine capabilities that the tech giant has the ability to record entire conversations and store them online.

Perhaps not surprisingly, it’s also possible for video to be captured of people who use smartphones and laptop computers that have a little “eye” camera at the top-middle of the screen. These cameras can be activated without ever indicating to the user that they’re on, and the footage captured can potentially be sent to a third-party source without the user knowing it.

An FBI official told The Independent that individuals who value their privacy and don’t want to be secretly watched should cover up their smartphone and laptop cameras with a sticker or some other obstruction to avoid being filmed. It’s also a good idea to go to Google’s history page and delete what’s there.

One can do this by visiting the History page on Google, selecting individual files by clicking the appropriate check box on the left, and choosing “delete.” To delete all Google recordings, select the “More” button, select “Delete options,” choose “Advanced,” and click through to delete all. After doing this, turning off Google’s virtual assistant and avoid the use of voice search to prevent further audio tracking.

“Google’s motto of Don’t Be Evil now seems less like a request for its users and more like a way of keeping themselves in check,” says AnonNews.co.

Monsanto Isn’t Feeding the World—It’s Killing Our Children By: Katherine Paul “How could we have ever believed that it is a good idea to grow our food with poisons?” – Dr. Jane Goodall Two new reports […]

Since President Donald Trump’s campaign and election, America has repeatedly witnessed vitriolic protests and riots.

In June 2016, leftist agitators in San Jose, California, threw eggs and water balloons at Trump supporters, stealing and burning their “Make America Great Again” hats.

And after Trump’s election victory in November, rioters in Portland, Oregon, smashed windows and pelted police officers with objects.

By Inauguration Day, anti-Trump protesters in Washington, D.C., had lit a limousine ablaze and struck cops with rocks and bottles.

But now there’s a new, peace-loving, Trump-backing crowd in town – make that in nearly 60 towns across America.

It’s a patriotic crowd that describes itself as “the heart and soul of America.”

And this crowd is pushing back with a series of Spirit of America rallies scheduled for Feb. 27 and March 4.

Brzezinski: Controlling What People Think ‘Is Our Job’

MSNBC’s Mika Slips: Controlling What People Think ‘Is Our Job’

The Stakes for Trump and All of Us | Paul Craig Roberts

We need to understand, and so does President Trump, that the hoax “war on terror” was used to transform intelligence agencies, such as the NSA and CIA, and criminal investigative agencies, such as the FBI, into Gestapo secret police agencies.

Trump is now threatened by these agencies, because he rejects the neoconservative’s agenda of US world hegemony that supports the gigantic military/security annual budget.

Our secret police agencies are busy at work planting “intelligence” among the presstitute media that Trump is compromised by “Russian connections” and is a security threat to the United States. The plan is to make a case in the media, as was done against President Nixon, and to force Trump from office. To openly take on a newly elected president is an act of extraordinary audacity that implies enormous confidence, or else desperation, on the part of the police state agencies.

Here you can see CNN openly cooperating with the CIA in treating wild and irresponsible speculation that Trump is under Russian influence as if it is an established fact.

The “evidence” provided by CNN and the CIA is a “report” by the New York Times that, with little doubt, was planted in the NYT by the CIA.

This is so obvious that it is clear that CNN and the CIA regard the American people as so gullible as to be completely stupid.

Glenn Greenwald explains to Amy Goodman that the CIA is after Trump, because Trump’s announced policy of reducing the dangerous tensions with Russia conflicts with the military/security complex’s need for a major enemy.

“The deep state, although there’s no precise or scientific definition, generally refers to the agencies in Washington that are permanent power factions. They stay and exercise power even as presidents who are elected come and go. They typically exercise their power in secret, in the dark, and so they’re barely subject to democratic accountability, if they’re subject to it at all.

It’s agencies like the CIA, the NSA and the other intelligence agencies, that are essentially designed to disseminate disinformation and deceit and propaganda, and have a long history of doing not only that, but also have a long history of the world’s worst war crimes, atrocities and death squads.

This is who not just people like Bill Kristol, but lots of Democrats are placing their faith in, are trying to empower, are cheering for as they exert power separate and apart from—in fact, in opposition to—the political officials to whom they’re supposed to be subordinate.

“And you go—this is not just about Russia. You go all the way back to the campaign, and what you saw was that leading members of the intelligence community, including Mike Morell, who was the acting CIA chief under President Obama, and Michael Hayden, who ran both the CIA and the NSA under George W. Bush, were very outspoken supporters of Hillary Clinton.

In fact, Michael Morell went to The New York Times, and Michael Hayden went to The Washington Post, during the campaign to praise Hillary Clinton and to say that Donald Trump had become a recruit of Russia. The CIA and the intelligence community were vehemently in support of Clinton and vehemently opposed to Trump, from the beginning. And the reason was, was because they liked Hillary Clinton’s policies better than they liked Donald Trump’s.

One of the main priorities of the CIA for the last five years has been a proxy war in Syria, designed to achieve regime change with the Assad regime. Hillary Clinton was not only for that, she was critical of Obama for not allowing it to go further, and wanted to impose a no-fly zone in Syria and confront the Russians.

Donald Trump took exactly the opposite view. He said we shouldn’t care who rules Syria; we should allow the Russians, and even help the Russians, kill ISIS and al-Qaeda and other people in Syria.

So, Trump’s agenda that he ran on was completely antithetical to what the CIA wanted. Clinton’s was exactly what the CIA wanted, and so they were behind her. And so, they’ve been trying to undermine Trump for many months throughout the election. And now that he won, they are not just undermining him with leaks, but actively subverting him.

There’s claims that they’re withholding information from him, on the grounds that they don’t think he should have it and can be trusted with it. They are empowering themselves to enact policy.

“Now, I happen to think that the Trump presidency is extremely dangerous. You just listed off in your news—in your newscast that led the show, many reasons.

They want to dismantle the environment. They want to eliminate the safety net. They want to empower billionaires. They want to enact bigoted policies against Muslims and immigrants and so many others. And it is important to resist them. And there are lots of really great ways to resist them, such as getting courts to restrain them, citizen activism and, most important of all, having the Democratic Party engage in self-critique to ask itself how it can be a more effective political force in the United States after it has collapsed on all levels.

That isn’t what this resistance is now doing. What they’re doing instead is trying to take maybe the only faction worse than Donald Trump, which is the deep state, the CIA, with its histories of atrocities, and say they ought to almost engage in like a soft coup, where they take the elected president and prevent him from enacting his policies. And I think it is extremely dangerous to do that.

Even if you’re somebody who believes that both the CIA and the deep state, on the one hand, and the Trump presidency, on the other, are extremely dangerous, as I do, there’s a huge difference between the two, which is that Trump was democratically elected and is subject to democratic controls, as these courts just demonstrated and as the media is showing, as citizens are proving. But on the other hand, the CIA was elected by nobody.

They’re barely subject to democratic controls at all. And so, to urge that the CIA and the intelligence community empower itself to undermine the elected branches of government is insanity. That is a prescription for destroying democracy overnight in the name of saving it. And yet that’s what so many, not just neocons, but the neocons’ allies in the Democratic Party, are now urging and cheering. And it’s incredibly warped and dangerous to watch them do that.”

The United States is now in the extraordinary situation that the liberal/progressive/left is allied with the deep state against democracy. The liberal/progressive/left are lobbying for the impeachment of a president who has committed no impeachable offense. The neoconservatives have stated their preference for a deep state coup against democracy. The media obliges with a constant barrage of lies, innuendos and disinformation. The insouciant American public sits there sucking its thumb.

What can Trump do? He can clean out the intelligence agencies and terminate their license granted by Bush and Obama to conduct unconstitutional activities. He can use anti-trust to breakup the media conglomerates that Clinton allowed to form. If Bush and Obama can on their own authority subject US citizens to indefinite detention without due process and if Obama can murder suspect US citizens without due process of law, Trump can use anti-trust law to break up the media conglomerates that speak with one voice against him.

At this point Trump has no alternative but to fight. He can take down the secret police agencies and the presstitute media conglomerates, or they will take him down. Dismissing Flynn was the worse thing to do. He should have kept Flynn and fired the “leakers” who are actively using disinformation against him. The NSA would have to know who the leakers are. Trump should clean out the corrupt NSA management and install officials who will identify the leakers. Then Trump should prosecute the leakers to the full extent of the law.

No president can survive secret police agencies determined to destroy him. If Trump’s advisers don’t know this, Trump desperately needs new advisers.

Will Geoengineering be Used to Help Avert an Oroville Dam Disaster?

image
Posted Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 12:51pm EST

Oroville Dam in California has a major problem with a possible failure due to an unseasonable amount of rain and damage to it’s emergency spillway. Evacuations have been ordered for effected counties. The potential for major damage and loss of life exists if the area receives more heavy rain. This an emergency that geoengineering can help alleviate in the short term. Pros and cons of this technology set aside to get to the deeper question.

Why isn’t this decades old technology being used to save lives or avert disaster?

The answer may be obvious. This would call public attention to ongoing geoengineering programs by the U.S government. Leading to questions about the nature of the entire drought situation in California as a hole and the real capability and risks of geoengineering.

Geoengineering in it’s many forms has been used for decades by governments and corporations around the world. Pieces of evidence and government documents on weather modification are numerous. Available through private websites and the government itself. Why wouldn’t this technology be used to avert a major disaster? Although it is not fully admitted by the United States. The capability exists to easily help the situation in California if more heavy rain is expected. Other nations openly admit some of their programs and ours.

The Indian government issued a report stating that out of control geoengineering by the U.S. was ruining the planet. According to the India Times.

CDC is a vaccine company, owns 56 vaccines – a grave conflict of interest

Image: CDC is a vaccine company, owns 56 vaccines – a grave conflict of interest

(Natural News) Two recent events have forced a glaring spotlight on the $30 billion a year vaccine industry: First, President Donald Trump announced a plan to establish a commission chaired by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. (RFK) to investigate vaccine safety and scientific integrity. The second, again featuring RFK, is when he and actor Robert De Niro announced a $100,000 reward to any scientist (or anyone else) who could conclusively prove the safety of mercury (in the form thimerosal) in vaccines.

Both events have unleashed a veritable storm of fury from the mainstream media, many of whom label both De Niro and RFK “vaccine skeptics” or “anti-vaccine,” despite the men’s repeated objections and insistence that they are pro-vaccine and dutifully had all their children vaccinated. Their very specific concern is the volume of vaccines being added to the CDC’s childhood immunization schedule, and the presence of mercury in many of those vaccines. The Dispensable Mike Flynn!

The Dispensable Mike Flynn!

The Dispensable Mike Flynn!
The recent firing of Mike Flynn is par for the course of any new administration. When a new POTUS comes into office, he must evaluate the performance of his subordinates.

Even more difficult is the fact that POTUS must insist that their performance and integrity [whatever that might mean] meets the standards that POTUS has set for himself and his WH.

Lt.Gen. Mike Flynn has been a loyal soldier. He did what he was supposed to do in order to facilitate Trump’s ascendancy into the WH. However, rumors were floating around that the National Security team in the WH was fragmented and not properly synchronized.

I emphasized the need for a strong national security leader in one of my former blogs. However helpful and effective Flynn may have been in the past, he became a liability in the present and for the future of Trump’s tenure.

Whether Flynn did or did not consort with the Russians or whatever other narrative is offered to the press is completely irrelevant. What does matter is that whatever POTUS decides is best for his WH becomes the sine qua non of any present or future actions that he might have to take.

The dismissal of Flynn underscores a salient point that I have repeatedly stated about all politicians, leaders, and operatives. They are dispensable.

The president has to make swift decisions in trying moments without having access to the full picture. Trump works at warp speed consistent with ruthless businessmen who are usually very successful. He may or may not allow one or two mistakes to be made.Trump will not hesitate to bring the ax down when necessary.

Please rest assured that Trump has built a very strong phalanx of operatives at the cabinet level who are effectively manning the key national security positions. In time, one must expect that more civilians and others will be dismissed. That is the nature of a vibrant capitalistic democracy where no one is guaranteed a livelihood or a sinecure.

Many civilians in the massive USG bureaucracy should be frightened. They too realize that they are disposable. That’s why we elected the “Fixer” Donald Trump to create a smaller federal government and a larger private sector.

Remember the Republic is intact and quite healthy. Heads will roll in order to make the USG more streamline and productive for the 21 st century. Thank you POTUS Trump!

THE REAL REASON GENERAL FLYNN WAS FORCED TO RESIGN

The military-industrial complex is trying to sabotage Trump

The resignation of General Flynn is part of an ongoing effort by the military-industrial complex to sabotage President Trump and re-assert control over foreign policy.

Flynn was backed into a corner after it was revealed that he had a conversation with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak back in December. This was seized upon because it could be spun to validate the otherwise completely baseless conspiracy theory that Russia “hacked the election” to help Trump defeat Hillary Clinton and that Flynn’s talk with Kislyak was a promise of payback.

In reality, Flynn’s conversation with Kislyak was merely the excuse that establishment neo-cons and neo-libs from both parties were desperately searching for. They wanted him gone from the very beginning. This was a deep state coup.

Health Ranger announces lab testing donation to Native American communities impacted by Keystone and Dakota pipelines

Image: Health Ranger announces lab testing donation to Native American communities impacted by Keystone and Dakota pipelines

(Natural News) Yesterday, President Donald Trump signed executive orders to advance two oil pipelines that will transport oil across North America. Although pipelines are by far the safest form of oil transportation, sometimes they leak and cause environmental damage. To help Native American communities protect their water from the possibility of oil pipeline leaks, today I’m making a significant announcement concerning the donation of laboratory testing services of Native American land and water.

As of right now, the non-profit Consumer Wellness Center (ConsumerWellness.org) will sponsor the lab testing costs of Native American water samples to be tested at CWC Labs, where I serve as the lab science director. CWC Labs is an internationally accredited (ISO 17025) laboratory specializing in forensic analysis of food, water and environmental samples, and it will offer testing to the CWC using “at cost” pricing so there is zero profit earned in the testing services. As the lab science director at CWC Labs, I oversee mass spec analysis, liquid chromatography, time-of-flight and other instrumentation that can accurately detect and quantify heavy metals, pesticides and even fracking chemicals.

Until the era of oil is over, we have to monitor our lands and water supplies for possible contamination using the best tools of modern science

NEW HOPE: Ten of the best and boldest ideas for President Trump to MAGA while prosecuting the real enemies of this great nation

Image: A NEW HOPE: Ten of the best and boldest ideas for President Trump to MAGA while prosecuting the real enemies of this great nation
(Natural News) With the inauguration of President Donald J. Trump, America has now been blessed with “A New Hope” (yes, the title of the first Star Wars movie). A true political outsider has been voted into the White House, and the status quo establishment is going absolutely berserk.

Here are 10 bold ideas for President Trump to turn America around and help Make America Great Again. These are ideas “beyond the obvious” which would include protecting our borders, defending the Second Amendment, taking care of our veterans and so on.

#1) Shut down the federal reserve and start issuing debt-free money

End the counterfeiting of fiat currency. End the cycle of endless debt that enslaves future generations of American taxpayers. Take back the Federal Reserve from the globalists and end its 103-year reign of financial terror and confiscatory monetary debasement that keeps Americans trapped in a cycle of poverty.

#2) Decriminalize natural medicine and end the FDA-Pharma monopoly over health care treatments

It’s time to nullify the FDA’s monopoly power over natural medicine and legalize healing across America.

End the censorship of truthful health claims on nutritional supplements. Shatter the FDA’s absurd, baseless position that “there is no such thing as a nutrient that can prevent, cure or treat disease.” Arrest the criminals at the CDC who are pushing toxic vaccines laced with mercury, a brain-damaging chemical.

Legalize healing in America. See more of my suggestions for saving hundreds of billions of dollars on health care costs in this video:

#3) Initiate anti-trust action against Google, Facebook, Youtube and Twitter for their anti-American censorship and monopolistic practices that stifle pro-America free speech

Investigate, prosecute and break apart the info-monopolies of Google, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter, all of which are engaged in incessant, targeted censorship of the voices of liberty.

To make America free again, we must shatter the vicious monopolies of the internet’s globalist gatekeepers. We must, in essence, make the internet great again by encouraging competition and innovation. This can only be done when the dangerous monopolists like Google are prosecuted for their illegal monopolies and abuse of power.

#4) Arrest the mayors of Sanctuary Cities who refuse to recognize immigration law

One of the most important law enforcement actions President Trump can take is to order the arrest and prosecution of Sanctuary City mayors who willfully violate U.S. immigration law.

It is time to end the lawlessness of the insane left and finally enforce our national borders. While we welcome immigration, it must be legal immigration. Those who openly violate U.S. immigration law must be held accountable for their actions.

#5) Declare George Soros a funding source for international terrorism and issue a warrant for his arrest

George Soros is an international terrorism money man who funds a long list of radical left-wing media slander websites and terrorism front groups in America.

Soros belongs on the Interpol list of international fugitives wanted for serious crimes, and we can only hope that President Trump will finally name Soros a “wanted criminal” and seek his prosecution.

#6) Reactivate the House Un-American Activities Committee and start arresting seditious traitors in the left-wing media who actively conspired to undermine America

CNN is a dangerous, traitorous, anti-American cabal of communists and subversives. As suggested by radio host Michael Savage, it is now time for the Trump administration to activate the House Un-American Activities Committee and initiate investigations into the poisonous, traitorous left-wing media outlets that actively sought to overthrow America and turn it into a communist stronghold run by left-wing totalitarians.

We must defend America against threats, both foreign and domestic. CNN is a domestic threat to America, and it is run by globalists pushing “fake news” disinformation and social engineering propaganda with the intended purpose of destroying liberty, destroying the Constitution, destroying America’s culture and destroying the Trump administration. I’ve labeled CNN a purveyor of “journo-terrorism” and a genuine threat to America.

While we support free speech and the First Amendment, those media outlets that are actively and maliciously working to undermine the nation must be investigated, prosecuted and stopped.

#7) Initiate criminal investigations into the CDC and its criminal collusion with the vaccine industry to poison America’s children with brain-damaging mercury

The CDC is a criminal organization run by anti-science industry hacks who have, for decades, conspired to conceal the dangers of vaccines from the American public. Their “war on children” has damaged countless innocent children with permanent neurological damage, including autism and other side effects of vaccine damage.

The CDC’s reign of medical terror must be brought to an end. Genuine science must win the day, and fraudulent “pharma science” must be exposed as the fraud it has become.

#8) Initiate anti-trust investigations into Monsanto and its persecution of farmers, scientists and journalists who question its dangerous monopolies over food, seeds and agrichemicals

Alongside the CDC, Monsanto also needs to be investigated for its role in the persecution of farmers, scientists and journalists who attempt to warn the public about the dangers of GMOs and glyphosate.

Monsanto, widely known as the “most evil corporation in the world,” profits from poisoning America, cost-shifting trillions of dollars in future health care expenditures to the federal government. Steeped in a culture of criminality, conspiracy and malicious character assassination, Monsanto exists as a scourge on America’s landscape and needs to be excised from this nation like a cancer tumor.

#9) De-fund NPR and PBS; stop using taxpayer money to fund hate-filled left-wing propaganda

Let us hope that President Trump will take every step necessary to completely de-fund NPR and PBS, both bastions of mentally ill left-wing “fake news” and mindless propaganda. It is completely insane that taxpayer are funding this radical left-wing propaganda that parades around as “news.”

While we’re at it, lets also slash the funding of the EPA, FDA, CDC, USDA and DEA, all of which have become nothing more than corporate shills and pushers of quack science and tyranny over the People.

#10) Pardon the Oregon ranchers and journalists like Pete Santilli who were unjustifiably imprisoned by the Obama regime colluding with Harry Reid and the corrupt BLM

In his last few days in office, Obama handed out pardons to a long list of felons, traitors and criminals. Yet innocent journalists like Pete Santilli still sit in prison thanks to the collusion of Harry Reid and the Bureau of Land Management.

We ask President Trump to pardon the Oregon ranchers who were wrongfully convicted for merely starting common brush fires on their own land. “The forgotten men and women of our country will be forgotten no longer,” said Trump today at his inauguration. We ask President Trump to remember Pete Santilli and the other Oregon ranchers. Don’t just set them free; also investigate Harry Reid and the BLM criminals who colluded to wrongfully imprison these ranchers in the first place!

Attorney General: Government Should Legalize Marijuana Nationwide

The Republican senator’s comments emphasizing that Congress needs to legalize cannabis to adhere to voters’ wishes comes as the political environment is allowing the cannabis industry to thrive.

Recreational cannabis is now legal in Washington, California, Nevada, Massachusetts, Maine, Alaska, Colorado, and Oregon. Medical marijuana is legal in 29 states and Washington D.C.

Legal cannabis sales in Washington state topped $1 billion in 2016.

According to Marijuana Business Factbook 2016, sales of legal cannabis are set to evolve into a $44 million industry by the end of 2020. Investment bank Cowen found that the cannabis industry is set to grow to $50 billion by 2026.

Trade publication, Marijuana Business Daily, reported that the legal cannabis industry employs about 100,000 to 150,000.

Trump-inauguration-640x350

TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE THE INAUGURATION:

‘Twas the night before Inauguration, and up in the tower
The Donald reflected on his newfound power.
The Deplorable masses had come out in force
Delivered a victory that would chart a new course

The snowflakes were shell-shocked with tears in their eyes
The media had lied to them . . . ‘What a great surprise
They had been promised a blowout a criminal Hillary win
But instead ole criminal Hillary took one right on the chin

From all corners celebrities took their far left cue
Telling the deplorables’ we’re far smarter than you
In their high-horse bubble, with no working-class clue
They tell us all we must follow their out of touch view

The fake news and ignorance came at a cost
They can’t understand all the reasons they lost
Blaming it on Comey and Russian excuses are sad
Failing to acknowledge she was the one who was bad

Yes, Hillary Clinton, in so many ways was flawed
She couldn’t help exposing she was a lying fraud
The campaign revealed her corruptness and greed
Her speeches insulted deplorables’ votes she’d need

Out in the city streets there arose such a clatter
It was Soros-paid protestors…Black Lives Matter
With businesses to pillage and windows to shatter
Looting was their game knowing issues did not matter

Eight years of Obama had given them plenty of cause
To yearn for a replacement with another Santa Claus
Soon the bottom-feeder criminals will all feel the pain
When the wheels fall right off of their gravy train

And now all the snowflakes are riddled with fear
Upset the PC police will soon be out on their ear
The cocoa and crayons will help them for a while
But soon reality will creep in and cramp their style

I would’ve supported any Republican that rose
In the end I would vote for whoever we choose
He wasn’t my first choice, but soon I would concede
The one they call Trump is the one that we need

I saw him on TV in front of a very large crowd
He spoke about veterans, it made me feel proud
He spoke about energy safety prosperity and jobs
Taking this country back from the Washington snobs

He was dressed in Armani, all tailored and neat
The Bruno’s he wore made his outfit complete
For a man of his vintage, he seemed rather fit
And he looked presidential, I will have to admit

His eyes glowed like embers, his smile the best
His hair was the color of my old hunting vest
His love for this country was on full display
His actions spoke louder than his words could say

He thanked all his voters, and before he was off
Saved thousands of jobs while Obama played golf
Fate of this country he leaves nothing to chance
Filled out his superior cabinet weeks in advance

The men he had chosen were of the same mind
Let’s set the bar high, and not lead from behind
He picked up his phone as he rose from his seat
With a flick of his finger, he sent out this tweet

“Now Mattis ‘Now Kelly ‘Now Sessions’ And Pruitt’
On Perry’ On Flynn’ You’re the ones who can do it
Start lifting those restrictions and building that wall
Dash away ‘Mattis ‘Kelly’ and ‘Flynn ‘Dash away all!

The roar of his audience rose from the stands
He kissed all their babies and shook all their hands
He answered their questions and calmed all their fears
They knew it was going to be a productive four years

He then jumped into his limo, and off to his jet
A fellow that snowflake liberals won’t soon forget

He sent one more tweet as the evening expired
“Happy Inauguration to all, “OBAMA > YOU’RE FIRED!”

The Boston Police Department on Friday announced it was putting a hold on its plans to purchase $1.4 million worth of social media surveillance software, signaling a win for civil liberties activists who said the program was poised to chill free speech and hindered other constitutionally-protected activity.

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange says the Obama administration is destroying public records in the final days in office.

Just days ago, Assange offered a $30,000 reward to any administration employee who would publicly expose any official disposing of information.

During a Periscope press conference on Monday, Assange said the most important thing for Americans to do is to ensure Obama is not destroying those records.

“Past administrations of both Republican and Democratic players have engaged in mass destruction of records as they left office,” Assange said in response to a question.

“We are told that destruction of records is occurring now in different parts of the Obama administration in different departments or agencies.

“That’s what happens when an administration leaves office,” Assange said.

“Our philosophy is that such information is a part of history. It belongs, legally and philosophically, to the American people and more broadly, insofar as the United States interacts with the world, it belongs to the people of the world.

“It is part of human history and the destruction of major archives of human history, frankly, should be formally listed as a crime against humanity because those archives belong to humanity,” he said.

He said those records are what we use to understand the world around us and to form new observations.

“To destroy them is absolutely and egregious act. One understands the political motivation for it,” Assange contended, adding it is done to “eliminate small political risks by destroying major elements of history.”

Reminding listeners of the $30,000 reward, Assange said, “Our request to system administrators in the Obama administration goes for other administrations around the world as well, is take the data now.

“Just take it now. Keep it under your bed, or with your mother and then you can give that to Wikileaks or other journalists at your leisure,” he said.

“Get hold of that history and protect it,” Assange said, “because that is something that belongs to humanity and does not belong to a political party.”

The Real Purpose of the U.S. Government’s Report on Alleged Hacking by Russia

Some thoughts on “Russia’s Influence Campaign Targeting the 2016 US Presidential Election,” the newly released declassified report from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

1. The primary purpose of the declassified report, which offers no evidence to support its assertions that Russia hacked the U.S. presidential election campaign, is to discredit Donald Trump. I am not saying there was no Russian hack of John Podesta’s emails. I am saying we have yet to see any tangible proof to back up the accusation. This charge—Sen. John McCain has likened the alleged effort by Russia to an act of war—is the first salvo in what will be a relentless campaign by the Republican and Democratic establishment, along with its corporatist allies and the mass media, to destroy the credibility of the president-elect and prepare the way for impeachment.

The allegations in the report, amplified in breathtaking pronouncements by a compliant corporate media that operates in a non-fact-based universe every bit as pernicious as that inhabited by Trump, are designed to make Trump look like Vladimir Putin’s useful idiot. An orchestrated and sustained campaign of innuendo and character assassination will be directed against Trump. When impeachment is finally proposed, Trump will have little public support and few allies and will have become a figure of open ridicule in the corporate media.

2. The second task of the report is to bolster the McCarthyist smear campaign against independent media, including Truthdig, as witting or unwitting agents of the Russian government. The demise of the English programming of Al-Jazeera and TeleSur, along with the collapse of the nation’s public broadcasting, designed to give a voice to those not beholden to corporate or party interests, leaves RT America and Amy Goodman’s Democracy Now! as the only two electronic outlets with a national reach that are willing to give a platform to critics of corporate power and imperialism such as Julian Assange, Edward Snowden, Chelsea Manning, Ralph Nader, Medea Benjamin, Cornel West, Kshama Sawant, myself and others.

Seven pages of the report were dedicated to RT America, on which I have a show called “On Contact.” The report vastly inflated the cable network’s reach and influence. It also included a few glaring errors, including the statement that “RT introduced two new shows—‘Breaking the Set’ on 4 September and ‘Truthseeker’ on 2 November—both overwhelmingly focused on criticism of the US and Western governments as well as the promotion of radical discontent.” “Breaking the Set,” with Abby Martin, was taken off the air two years ago. It could hardly be tarred with costing Hillary Clinton the election.

The barely contained rage of Director of National Intelligence James Clapper at the recent Senate Armed Services Committee hearing on foreign cyber threats was visible when he spat out that RT was “promoting a particular point of view, disparaging our system, our alleged hypocrisy about human rights, et cetera.” His anger was a glimpse into how the establishment seethes with hatred for dissidents. Clapper has lied in the past. He perjured himself in March 2013 when, three months before the revelations of wholesale state surveillance leaked by Snowden, he assured Congress that the National Security Agency was not collecting “any type of data” on the American public. After the corporate state shuts down RT, it will go after Democracy Now! and the handful of progressive sites, including this one, that give these dissidents space. The goal is censorship.

3. The third task of the report is to justify the expansion of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization beyond Germany, a violation of the promise Ronald Reagan made to the Soviet Union’s Mikhail Gorbachev after the fall of the Berlin Wall. Expanding NATO in Eastern Europe opened up an arms market for the war industry. It made those businesses billions of dollars. New NATO members must buy Western arms that can be integrated into the NATO arsenal. These sales, which are bleeding the strained budgets of countries such as Poland, are predicated on potential hostilities with Russia. If Russia is not a threat, the arms sales plummet. War is a racket.

4. The final task of the report is to give the Democratic Party plausible cover for the catastrophic election defeat it suffered. Clinton initially blamed FBI Director James Comey for her loss before switching to the more easily demonized Putin. The charge of Russian interference essentially boils down to the absurd premise that perhaps hundreds of thousands of Clinton supporters suddenly decided to switch their votes to Trump when they read the leaked emails of Podesta. Either that or they tuned in to RT America and decided to vote for the Green Party.

The Democratic Party leadership cannot face, and certainly cannot publicly admit, that its callous betrayal of the working and middle class triggered a nationwide revolt that resulted in the election of Trump. It has been pounded since President Barack Obama took office, losing 68 seats in the House, 12 seats in the Senate and 10 governorships. It lost more than 1,000 elected positions between 2008 and 2012 nationwide. Since 2010, Republicans have replaced 900 Democratic state legislators. If this was a real party, the entire leadership would be sacked. But it is not a real party. It is the shell of a party propped up by corporate money and hyperventilating media.

The Democratic Party must maintain the fiction of liberalism just as the Republican Party must maintain the fiction of conservatism. These two parties, however, belong to one party—the corporate party. They will work in concert, as seen by the alliance between Republican leaders such as McCain and Democratic leaders such as Sen. Chuck Schumer, to get rid of Trump, silence all dissent, enrich the war industry and promote the farce they call democracy.

Fukushima-Japan-Nuclear-Radiation-Disaster

Tillamook County, Oregon — Seaborne cesium 134, the so-called “fingerprint of Fukushima,” has been detected on US shores for the first time researchers from the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) said this month.

WHOI is a crowd-funded science seawater sampling project, that has been monitoring the radioactive plume making its way across the Pacific to America’s west coast, from the demolished Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant in eastern Japan.

The seawater samples were taken from the shores of Tillamook Bay and Gold Beach, and were actually obtained in January and February of 2016 and tested later in the year.

In other strikingly similar news reported last month, researchers at the Fukushima InFORM project in Canada, led by University of Victoria chemical oceanographer Jay Cullen, said they sampled a sockeye salmon from Okanagan Lake in British Columbia that tested positive for cesium 134 as well.

Multiple other reports have circulated online, mostly in alternative media outlets, and mostly not corroborated by any tangible measurement data, that point to cases of possible radioactive contamination of Canadian salmon, but EnviroNews Oregon has not independently confirmed any of these claims.

Testing Fish for Radiation in Sushi Restaurant

Cesium 134 is called the “footprint of Fukushima” because of its fast rate of decay. With a half life of only 2.06 years, there are few other places the dangerous and carcinogenic isotope could have originated.

It is important to note that airborne radioactive fallout from the initial explosion and meltdowns at Fukushima in 2011 reached the US and Canada within days, and circled the globe falling out wherever the currents and precipitation carried it — mostly to places unknown to this day. Even still, radioactive iodine 131 was found in municipal water supplies in places like Pennsylvania and Massachusetts shortly after the initial Fukushima accident — a triple meltdown ranked by EnviroNews USA as the most destructive environmental catastrophe in human history.

The samples from the Oregon coast measured around 0.3 becquerels per cubic meter for cesium 134. Researchers in both the US and Canada said the recently detected radiation levels were extremely low and pose “no risk to humans or the environment.” Sadly, NBC, the New York PostUSA Today, and even The Inquisitr amongst others, took the bait and reported the same thing.

Medical science and epidemiological studies have demonstrated time and again that there is no safe amount of radiation for a living organism to be subjected to — period. With each subsequent exposure, no matter how small, the subject experiences an increase in cancer risk. In the wake of Fukushima, several governments, and certainly the Japanese government, have raised the “safe” annual limit for radiation exposure for humans — this critics say, to lower legal liability and to placate concerns from the public, in an increasingly radioactive world. Now, many concerned citizens look on in concern, waiting for more testing and data on ocean waters and the seafood they so greatly enjoy.

Are the Aging Elite Literally “Feasting on Young Blood”? Creepy Rockefeller Research Advanced Eternal Quest

(Mac SlavoEditor’s Note: Stories like this one seriously make you wonder if the film The Island isn’t based on fact after all…

Though it seems like science fiction, it is, in fact, based in reality.

Some of the wealthiest foundations on the planet have sponsored on-going research that dates back to the 1950s where-in scientists attempted to transfuse the vital, healthy blood of young individuals into older, and more fatigued recipients.

And apparently, it has demonstrated considerable positive effects – at least in lab studies with mice.

President-elect Donald Trump asserted that cyber attacks had “absolutely no effect” on the results of the election, after he received an intelligence briefing at Trump Tower on Friday.

While Russia, China, other countries, outside groups and people are consistently trying to break through the cyber infrastructure of our governmental institutions, businesses and organizations including the Democrat National Committee, there was absolutely no effect on the outcome of the election including the fact that there was no tampering whatsoever with voting machines,” Trump said in a statement sent to reporters.

He added that although there were attempts to hack the RNC, they had the proper security defense to ward off the attacks.

Trump was briefed by Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, CIA Director John Brennan, FBI Director James B. Comey, and Adm. Michael S. Rogers, the head of the National Security Agency and U.S. Cyber Command.

After the meeting, Trump appeared eager to put the controversy behind him, praising the intelligence community for their efforts.

“I have tremendous respect for the work and service done by the men and women of this community to our great nation,” he said.

He also promised to have an aggressive plan to secure the country from cyber attacks, vowing a plan within 90 days of taking the office of the presidency.

“The methods, tools and tactics we use to keep America safe should not be a public discussion that will benefit those who seek to do us harm,” he said. “Two weeks from today I will take the oath of office and America’s safety and security will be my number one priority.”

Did Chuck Schumer Just Threaten Donald Trump?

Tyler Durden's picture

As the financial crisis jolted the nation in September, Senator Charles E. Schumer was consumed. He traded telephone calls with bankers, then became one of the first officials to promote a Wall Street bailout. He spent hours in closed-door briefings and a weekend helping Congressional leaders nail down details of the $700 billion rescue package.

The next day, Mr. Schumer appeared at a breakfast fund-raiser in Midtown Manhattan for Senate Democrats. Addressing Henry R. Kravis, the buyout billionaire, and about 20 other finance industry executives, he warned that a bailout would be a hard sell on Capitol Hill. Then he offered some reassurance: The businessmen could count on the Democrats to help steer the nation through the financial turmoil.

“We are not going to be a bunch of crazy, anti-business liberals,” one executive said, summarizing Mr. Schumer’s remarks. “We are going to be effective, moderate advocates for sound economic policies, good responsible stewards you can trust.”

The message clearly resonated. The next week, executives at firms represented at the breakfast sent in more than $135,000 in campaign donations.

He succeeded in limiting efforts to regulate credit-rating agencies, for example, sponsored legislation that cut fees paid by Wall Street firms to finance government oversight, pushed to allow banks to have lower capital reserves and called for the revision of regulations to make corporations’ balance sheets more transparent.

At times in Congress, Mr. Schumer has teamed up with Republicans, like former Senator Phil Gramm of Texas, who aggressively promoted a free-market agenda. Mr. Schumer pushed for the Gramm-Leach-Bliley law, passed in November 1999, which knocked down the walls between investment banks and commercial banks and allowed financial supermarkets to flourish. The law also weakened regulatory oversight by fracturing it among different agencies.

– From The New York Times article: A Champion of Wall Street Reaps Benefits

Great way to start off the new year for the Democrats. New Senate Minority leader, and Wall Street mega-defender, Chuck Schumer just went on Rachel Maddow’s MSNBC show and warned Donald Trump that U.S. intelligence agencies could retaliate against him for disagreeing with their claims (based on no public evidence thus far) that Russia hacked the DNC/John Podesta and released it to Wikileaks with the intent of helping Trump win the election.

Here’s what he said courtesy of The Washington Examiner:

The new leader of Democrats in the Senate says Donald Trump is being “really dumb” for picking a fight with intelligence officials, suggesting they have ways to strike back, after the president-elect speculated Tuesday that his “so-called” briefing about Russian cyberattacks had been delayed in order to build a case.

“Let me tell you: You take on the intelligence community — they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you,” said Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer Tuesday evening on MSNBC after host Rachel Maddow informed him that intelligence sources told NBC news that the briefing had not been delayed.

Now watch the clip for yourself. I’m certain the near permanent grin on his face will not be lost upon you either.

The exchange is especially disturbing given the CIA’s not so warm and fuzzy history, both internally and externally. For some light reading on the matter, I strongly suggest the following post, How America’s Modern Shadow Government Can Be Traced Back to One Very Evil Man – Allen Dulles. Here’s a brief passage to whet your appetite:

Allen Dulles, the CIA director under presidents Eisenhower and Kennedy, the younger brother of Secretary of State John Foster Dulles, and the architect of a secretive national security apparatus that functioned as essentially an autonomous branch of government. Talbot offers a portrait of a black-and-white Cold War-era world full of spy games and nuclear brinkmanship, in which everyone is either a good guy or a bad guy. Dulles—who deceived American elected leaders and overthrew foreign ones, who backed ex-Nazis and thwarted left-leaning democrats—falls firmly in the latter camp.

But what I was really trying to do was a biography on the American power elite from World War II up to the 60s. That was the key period when the national security state was constructed in this country, and where it begins to overshadow American democracy. It’s almost like Game of Thrones to me, where you have the dynastic struggles between these power groups within the American system for control of the country and the world…

Absolutely. The surveillance state that Snowden and others have exposed is very much a legacy of the Dulles past. I think Dulles would have been delighted by how technology and other developments have allowed the American security state to go much further than he went. He had to build a team of cutthroats and assassins on the ground to go around eliminating the people he wanted to eliminate, who he felt were in the way of American interests. He called them communists. We call them terrorists today. And of course the most controversial part of my book, I’m sure, will be the end, where I say there was blowback from that. Because that killing machine in some way was brought back home.

Threaten the U.S. President-elect with the CIA. How liberal.
